ACDelco gold gf822 fuel filter

Have had this installed for some months now, and it's been performing great on my LS swap. No issues to note, and easy to install. You can get a variety of fittings that plug right into/onto this to meet your needs.

This product was a lot like the time my first girlfriend cooked for me, it look good, but wasn’t quite right. It may work as a stock replacement, but for me, it failed miserable at regulating the pressure. I wound up going with an adjustable aeromotive regulator and separate filter. The internet lied to me again, I tried two of them; they both failed one way or another.

Not sure if this is an original product. I installed regulator and the pressure was 75 psi. Returned the item for an exchange. Installed the old regulator back while I waited for replacement (checked pressure an pressure set at 58psi with old regulator). Received replacement, installed and pressure is back at 75psi. Regulator should operate at 58psi at key on and on.

The filter came in a crumbled box that did say AC Delco and the part number on it but nowhere was any of that on the product itself. I took the part to a GM Dealer and there was doubt that it was a genuine GM/AC Delco part. I had ordered this same part from Amazon last year and have had issues since it was installed. I purchased this filter to replace the one I previously bought that came in the same crumbled box that said AC Delco on it as the new one. It also did not have any info on the unit. I will be returning this product.

Product Packaging was unsealed. Also filter ports did not have protective plastic covers. Usually these filters include new plastic snap tube retainers for the inlet lines. I’m thinking those “disappeared” when box was opened.
