I bought these for some swag curtains I purchased. They needed a little extra weight to them, and now they hang perfectly. The magnets are strong and have plenty of weight to them. I also used them to hold the 2 curtains together on the center. It definitely helped elevate the entire look adding these magnets.

This is a life saver.I recently moved into an apartment and happily purchased a high pressure showerhead as well as fabric curtain. This... was not a good idea. Every time I turned the shower on, the poor curtain would be caught up in a tornado and blow in all directions at once (I didn't even know that was possible!).I came across these and thought - why the heck not?I think this may be the best purchase I have ever made. I got two packs of 8 which I used in my two bathrooms. It works wonderfully and I can have a peaceful shower now.I did purchase another pack because my curtain seems a tad abnormally long.Also, I think someone else mentioned this but those pictures that the seller put up absolutely DO NOT do it justice. They look sort of gross in the picture but they actually look like thick, rectangular chiclets and feel soft/rubbery on the outside. The magnets are strong as well. Would highly recommend these. :)

I struggled with how to write this review. The product itself is excellent. Well made, super strong magnets just as you'd want for mounting them with cloth between and nicely finished. However the seller really needs to clean up some things in the listing. If that weren't the case, I'd have given them 5 stars.(1) The photo of the product is misleading. It oddly makes the product look worse. It appears to be a photo of a crude 3-D printed prototype. The real covers are steel with a nice enamel finish.(2) The are sold as 6 packs, 8 packs, 12 packs, etc. This is misleading. These only work as sets made up of 2 pieces. An accurate listing would be 3 units, 4 units, 6 units, etc.(3) The "carrying case" bit should be removed. It is just ordinary thin cardboard packaging with some foam inside to keep the pieces apart. It's a huge stretch to call it a carrying case.(4) Each set is made up of, as the instructions put it, positive and negative magnets. The packaging does not indicate which is which. If you get the wrong mix, the set won't line up when installed, but the pieces will jump off to the side. You can figure it out by trying different pieces to see which two line up with each other, but it would have been nice to just mark them in some way.

I purchased four pair of these magnets to help weigh down an outdoor patio curtain and prevent wind from blowing it into the patio and knocking items off the table. The magnets are extremely strong but not really heavy enough to weigh the curtain down enough to help even in very light wind. These are outdoor water resistant curtains made of a very thick and durable material, and the magnets ripped through them after a couple of weeks. It seems to do less damage if you place them several inches away from the nearest fabric seam, but I discovered that too late. These have done more damage than help and I can only imagine how quickly they’d tear through a shower curtain.

Read reviews. We must be lucky. Have an awning on our deck that has a short vinyl cover that covers the motor but does hang over when closed. The wind picks up the edges and turns them backward on those edges. Installed one magnet on each corner & so far problem solved. Live in Colorado & we get heavy winds at times plus below freezing temps. The vinyl cover is not super thick but much more than a shower curtain. We received the round magnets. Maybe I'm weak but these guys are not easy to separate. All in all they are working very well so far & are remaining attached even in wind.

They come off in moderate wind. And one broke the window. As an engineering solution, it is useless (one has to add considerable weight to make a difference)

First off the box these come in is very nicely packaged, not just thrown together so you have to seperate them, and they feel not to heavy but when you put them together they do the job. And the magnets themself are strong, remember thou that them holding together also depends on how thick your shower curtain is, the thicker it is the less of a hold because of what they have to go threw to stick, but I have I think it is a 5mm curtain and they work great. Another thing is if you forget there is instructions inside telling you not to put them in a straight line as they could stick together when you pull the curtain back and forth, but moving each one up a couple of inches, works and so far these are the only magnets that have kept the curtain down and prevented the curtain from trying to "hug" me in the shower. Very nice product

They work marginally but they need more than 3 sets or to be heavier. If you do purchase them, purchase more than 1 box. They look nice though!
