Expensive but worth it.
Expensive but worth it. I like to read in bed but my carpel tunnel makes my hands go numb and uncomfortable. This allows me to hold books and my iPad mini to read hands free in bed. I love it.

Great iPad Air 2 stand - smaller and lighter than appears in pictures
Excellent stand. Very lightweight and portable. Made of quality plastic, well finished. I use this for guitar practice. If I sit on a bench outside, this stand elevates my iPad, reducing neck and eye strain. Works great in bed as well. Perfectly, in fact. So light I hardly feel it. Hands free and comfortable viewing. My chief design complaint is that I'd like it to be completely flat when folded, but the curved legs prevent this. Clearly, they're there for the chest support while in bed, so I'm not demoting the product by a star. There has to be some compromise.I would like to have greater angle adjustability when in table top mode, but again, compromises always have to be made to facilitate other features. In table top mode, the bottom is quite slippery, so I attached some rubber pads (see my pics). They protect the TStand and give it good, grippy feet. All in all, an excellent concept, and what really stands out to me is its portability. Smaller than it appears in the pictures. I will try to snap some pics to illustrate using household objects for reference.Great to see entrepreneurs take a concept across the finish line. Kudos to the inventors. I wish them success. The product is overpriced IMHO. I think the retail sweet spot for this type of product is in the $40 - $45 range. I didn't demote by a a star because in all fairness, it's a boutique type of product and it's not a big company that mass produces. I suspect they have higher costs.

Works great. Version 2 is a nice upgrade.
Won't quite hold a 16" Lenovo Yoga, but anything smaller and lighter works great. New version no longer has plastic rubbing noise when moved. Internal structure is steel so really solid.

the company does stand behind its product
That was my initial review after getting the stand: "May be I got a bad copy, but after reading all these glowing reviews and paying the hefty price I was expecting a sturdy premium product. Instead I got something that squeaks at the slightest touch. The idea might not be too bad, but the implementation is horrible. That kind of quality would justify a seven buck stand, not a fifty five dollar stand. Returning it."After posting the original one star review I immediately got contacted by Tstand (an email, two phone calls, and a text message). They assured me that this was a rare defect and were willing to go an extra mile to solve the problem. Clearly, they do stand behind their product.I still figured that this thing (or any iPad stand) is not for me: I don't want to encourage myself to lie in bed with my iPad more than I do, and I'd like to think about my iPad as a mobile device, even around the house. The beauty of it compared to a laptop is that it feels just like a book - attaching it to a stand takes the mobility away even if I just want to slightly change my position.

Not comfortable to use When laying flat on your back
I have had this product for a few months now and it seems to be holding up pretty well seeing that it’s only made out of plastic, I still think it’s a little over priced but that’s imho , after using it for a while I noticed it’s not that comfortable to use when laying flat on my back in bed with a pillow under my head the tstand still does not sit high enough off my chest while in that position to read or watch a movie on my tablet without causing some discomfort in my neck simply because it lacks the ability for you to adjust the height of it, so to try and resolve this I put a pillow on my chest then set the tstand on top of the pillow to give it that extra height which doesn’t work that great because the tstand was designed to sit on your chest when laying down not a pillow, so that’s why the 2 stars for comfort, how ever it does work good for holding your tablet securely and makes for hands free reading and watching a movie on your tablet while sitting at your kitchen table or using on your counter top, also it’s not that bad to use if your laying in an elevated position , but if your looking for something to hold your tablet while you read or watch movies on it comfortably while laying flat on your back in your bed with just a pillow under your head like me , then in my opinion this is not the best product for that, and you might want to look for something else like I’m going to do to fulfill that need, or you could try putting an extra pillow on your chest like I did and that might work just fine for you , either way I wish you the best of luck.

Fantastic and useful device.
For bedtime watching, this cannot be beaten. I use it with my iPad mini and it has changed the way that I watch in bed. It is so comfortable that I have fallen asleep while watching a show on my iPad. Very cleverly designed and it rests in the perfect position. It seems a little flimsy at first but it has performed pretty solidly and shows no signs of any use after six weeks of intensive use. I highly recommend this.Only negative is that you cannot use it with a mobile phone. Manufacturer claims a separate rubber doodad is necessary to accommodate the smaller size but I have been unable to find this nor is there any mention of it on their website or FB page. Pity. So as long as you're using it with a an iPad or tablet, you're OK.

Amazing
This is a high-quality stand that allows you to fully relax with your device at any angle. This can stretch to fit my large 12.9" iPad Pro and came with a bonus insert to fit a smartphone. I'm even using it with my Steam Deck (it's not a secure fit since the stand wasn't designed for this, but the tension has been high enough to keep it in place nonetheless.)
