Stiff plastic parts
Overall, I like the functionality of this holder, but I almost returned it because it took a while to get it to work. The clear plastic backing was attached and was difficult to remove from the back. It felt like I was going to break something, so I separated them at the hinge at the top. At that point, it came apart easily. It was easy to attach to the stand I am using, but I had difficulty with the part where the plug goes through the hole. The plastic was molded together and did not freely move until I used a screwdriver to push it open from behind. It’s not a high-quality piece in my opinion, but it will definitely work for what I need it for.

Cheap plastic
This only lasted us for a few months and then it cracked apart. Our Dyson brand one that we had previously had lasted 6 years. Wouldn't recommend this brand.
