The history of Wang Lao Ji ingredients can be found on wiki dated back almost 200 years ago. The ingredients of this product are marked on the package and can be searched on Chinese herbal medicine websites. I tried it today with my husband, and the functional effects for anti-inflammation are clear, beneficial detox. This product is ready to drink by diluting with warm water, is more convenient than other herbal packages (that needed to be cooked 1.5 hours as for Asian herbs in traditional medicine, e.g. self heal dried fruit spike that goes into the Wang Lao Ji drinks).

I saw this recommended by Jimmy O Yang and bought it on impulse.All I know is this tea works, whenever I am feeling off and my stomach is bothering me, this tea has me feeling better in under 30 mins. It's a little bit sweet so maybe they will make a sugar free version some day. Could happen, they've been making this tea for 180 years.

this is not herbs, just instant drink. taste is like sweet water. can't find any real taste besides sugar.
