Very good quality
Didn’t know what to expect first time buying padded bike liners. Like always very good quality (Fox). They do run small, I’m a medium, but I got large and they fit fine. Very well-made.

5 Stars
Well priced, comfortable, not hot, ample protection areas, nicely constructed. Compared to LEATT and POC these FOX shorts are solid nice and more affordable. I got a larger size and it fit me well. Im a Large but XL fit me snug and stays in place while in use. Black would’ve been nicer , but thats of no importance and subjective. This is a very nice set of armor shorts that’s a bit more economical than others in the market. Recommended.

Rides low in back
I'm 5'10" and 142 and wear small in every brand. This runs low on me and I may have been able to wear a medium. But it is so well designed and manufactured and it is comfortable. I've 'tested' it and can say the padding works and handles light abuse well.

Not good for MTN biking.
Nice pants, but the chamois is more suited for moto, with more chamois in front, and very little in the rear.Thigh padding is nice. I found the MTB version of these from Fox, so I returned these, and ordered from Fox, since i had a discount. BTW…MTB version is way more expensive.

I've found it hard to find good padded chamis like these
I've found it hard to find good padded chamis like these. I bought XS and it fits as expected. I like the protection, but the chamis is HUGE. It's like wearing a diaper. It wouldn't be that bad if it was placed well, but it's sewn way to far forward into the crotch, so it comes up super high in the front. I guess that'd be nice to have protection around your junk, but realistically it feels really bulky and awkward, and it's really hot. I ride with my fly down to try to compensate. Embarrassing. If I couldn't find anything better, I'd maybe buy again but a size bigger. I just wonder if they're using the same size chamis for every size short, so the chamis is way too big for the small sized shorts.

Protect those hips and tailbone!
This is my second pair. You have to size up or they will be to tight. Great protection. I though I could climb this steep hill and found out the hard with the front wheel lifting off the ground and me falling about 6 feet straight on my tail bone. I would have never though a small triangle pad would save me. it did as I got up feeling dumb but no pain! finished another 10 miles of fun out in the desert.

Super dissatisfied
I bought these for playing hardcourt bike polo. I had hoped the reviews speaking poorly of the chamois were just from people who are unaccustomed to bicycle shorts. I have owned everything from fairly expensive pearl izumi shorts to cheap Amazon cycling shorts and these are the worst fitting shorts I have ever worn. The chamois goes way up in the front which makes sense to protect your junk but from there back they are awful. Way too much chamois right between your legs and then the chamois ends right at my sit bones. I am constantly trying to adjust so that the pressure is not directly on the seam where the chamois ends. There's more fabric in the front than in the back, completely the opposite as the way it should be, so when you're wearing them they ride too low for biking shorts in the back. Even if the hip and tailbone padding were perfect the shorts would be junk. All I can think about when I wear these is how a product this bad actually ends up on store shelves. did anyone from Fox racing ever actually wear these for riding a bicycle? did they just already have thousands of pairs made and were just like, screw it, got to sell them now. I tried them on with another pair of cycling shorts underneath and should have known that they weren't going to work. now I'm just out 65 bucks that I could have put towards a decent pair of cycling shorts. Super annoying. At this point I am considering just cutting out the chamois and trying to make some sort of crotchless padded contraption I can wear over a decent pair of cycling shorts. I should have just bought the cheap Amazon version, at least that way if they sucked I would only be out half as much money.
