These were a direct replacement for my 1989 CatTrike Road. It now shifts like it did when new.

Easy to install
Plug and play install. Only took 10 minutes. Works great!

If replacing the thermostat may require a new control board.
Replaced an aged IR Duotherm thermostat. The wiring of the control board seemed a bit daunting but I took pictures as I removed the old one. At first it didn't work but Dometic tech support sent me the correct dipswitch settings and all is well. I hope it lasts 15 years like the first one did.

No instructions!
No instructions came with it, and Dometic does not have them for DIY people. Unit works well for replacing old remote systems.
