9773 Bar/Prep Sink 2 1/2 Junior Duo Stainless Steel Drain Assembly with Strainer Basket and Rubber Stopper

Replaced the drain in my service sink at my restaurant, works great. No problems with installation

I needed to replace two old drains in an old enameled ceramic basement slop sink. Off-the-shelf strainer assemblies of this diameter were not deep enough, but, they were flimsy! Or too big. These little beauties are deep, have a very clever basket/stopper assembly, and are really well made, from the sturdy steel body, to the shiny chromed rim, to the solid brass connecting nut, to the strong, deep basket. Now, I'm not a plumber by any means... I hate crawling around under sinks! So I appreciate that it took me about five whole minutes to install these, and they sealed tight and drip free first time. I don't know why they haven't already replaced all the other cheap junk on the shelves. This is good stuff!

My old bar sink strainer developed some ugly stains and I needed a replacement. There's a handful of different ones on Amazon for sale, but it's hard to tell whether you're going to get some cheap version made of thin flimsy metal or something of decent quality. I will say that I am very happy with this strainer assembly and would recommend it.It comes with all that you need to install, including gaskets and nuts. It was a perfect fit for my standard bar sink. The metal is of good thickness and doesn't feel cheap at all.

After striking out at the local hardware/big box stores I was pleased to find what I needed on Amazon.Quality product, great price. Item description matched what you receive.Pretty easy fix, but there’s a YouTube video for everything these days just in case you need guidance.I did have a problem fitting the tailpiece and top hat gasket and getting the nut to thread. Might have been user error, but swapping out for another nut solved the issue.All in all a great purchase.

Updated 8/30/19 I installed these drains and they worked out just as expected. Solid product and a good replacement dor the old and pitted drains they replaced.All metal for the price of what I've seen plastic version sell for have yet to install but overall looks like it'll be good comes all the gaskets needed perfect for an RV sink or a bar sink. The metal is shinier then in the picture it was just poor lighting

Fits right in place of the old one and was the same length so no modifications needed. Looks like a good quality product.

With the tailpiece and washer installed the coupling nut is not deep enough to reach the treads on the strainer body. I had to improvise. Other than that the quality is good.
