Writing on them is difficult
The bracelets are good material and durable. But writing on them is difficult as various pens won't keep. And then there's the issue of the transparent sticker that's meant to go over the ink to hold it in place. The sticker is too small. I was unable to place it perfectly over the writing, and ended up not using the bracelets because the writing kept wiping off.

PERFECT
I used mine on children aged one and four. I used the ankle location on both children but it just barely fit the ankle of my four year old. Wrist works just fine. I wrote in sharpie and layer a piece of scotch tape over the top very successfully. Never frayed, never wore off. We were at a water park for a whole week. These are fantastic. The snap never slipped or was able to be pulled off. I felt 100% better with these than traveling without.

Great buy!
I bought these for my 3-year-old twins to wear while attending preschool, as they are difficult to tell apart. My boys are autistic, nonverbal, and do not respond to their names as of yet, so I really needed a reliable way to be sure that when they attended their special needs’ school, they weren’t mixed up and receiving the wrong therapies... At first they did not like having the bands on, so they pulled and chewed on them, trying to get them off, but they withstood their attempts!!! Staff at their school have taken them off/readjusted them and I have put on the same two bands for over a month and they are still working great, despite a little wear and tear from the boys’ chewing. My point is, if my guys could not (1) get them off and/or (2) destroy them, wearing them everyday for over a month, they will be perfect for anyone for day trips, vacations, etc.My only negative would be that, despite using a Sharpie, the name does fade. I’ve just had to rewrite that a few times when I notice it fading, but that’s not anything that would deter me from using them, buying them again, or recommending them.Overall, a great buy for what I needed, and easy to get on and off for adults but too hard to manipulate by small children.

Pleased
I used these when I took my grandson to Disneyworld. The designs were appealing for a child. Ballpoint pen does not work in them - I had to use a fine point marker. The clasp is plastic and slightly awkward to use. You need to get the band lined up properly in the clasp, and the make sure the clasp is firmly clipped closed. It’s not at all hard to do, but you do need to be attentive to getting it right or the band will fall off. The bands were reusable enough that we got through four days with them with no problem. By then the marker was fading a bit but still readable, and the clasp on the band was still working as well as day one. I think I could have gotten another 1-2 days out of them before having to use a new one. They were comfortable for him even in FL - he didn’t complain of sweatiness it chafing or anything. The only thing I had conflicting feelings on is that the part where you put a name and number are on the outside (visible to everyone). On one hand, that probably was partially the reason the writing on the band held up well - it wasn’t exposed to sweatiness or rubbing on his arm. But I didn’t like putting something on him that allowed anyone to see a name and number. So anyone considering these should decide how they feel about that.

Doesn’t smear!
Sharpie pen works and is waterproof, as I wrote on it and ran under the sink tap and nothing smeared. Material is cheap. Will only last one day at best in water.

Perfect solution
Bought these for my own kiddo after helping a little boy about the same age who was lost at the zoo. We spent almost an hour tracking down the parents with a zoo team member, and I got to searching for something like this for my own kiddo when we go out, just in case of emergency. These bracelets are perfect... they are easy enough for me to get on and off, but my kiddo can’t figure out the latch himself so he doesn’t know how to take if off... plus he likes wearing them, which makes it a win all around. I wrote on mine with a sharpie and they are completely reusable, so I think we are all set on these for a while.
