El color

I dyed a pair of pumpkin colored frye campus boots with the "army tan" color and it came out great, except the color was much more Red than expected.

Bought this dye to use on two old leather chairs. It took several applications to get the color we wanted and we were absolutely in love with the results, However, the color bled onto our clothes. We contacted the company and they were very responsive, but suggested that we put too many coats on. (needed to do this to get the right color). We tried numerous products but didn't get a decent seal. We actually bought additional stripper and removed the dye from one of the chairs and started over. Finally, we got some Fiebings Sheen to seal the chairs and now they don't seem to be bleeding color. Loved the color, loved the service and response from the company and now love the chairs thanks to a good sealant. The 1st picture shows the original chair color (white) and the chair with Army Tan dye.

Purchased a new Brooks B67 saddle, but I didn't like the shade. The brand of dye that was recommended was not available in California, so I took a chance and chose Angelus instead. I am very happy with the results.

to be fair, my boots were already a white tan so i guess they didnt lie but they came out red. think ill scrup with coffee grounds next to get the brown i want/ need.
