If you need a full sized travel mouse and don't want to use a bluetooth connection this is one of the best. The cord retracts all the way into the mouse so you don't have to worry about it floating around in your bag getting tangled, and it's fairly easy to pull out again when you do need to use it. I don't use this for daily use, it stays in my backpack for when I'm on the road or want to work at a cafe somewhere.

My purpose in buying this was to replace my existing mini travel mouse with a larger one with a more ergonomic fit for my hand while still being able to retract the cable to avoid further cluttering my desk. This mouse worked perfectly as soon as I plugged it into my laptop, and I can lengthen or shorten the cable to my liking. It's not quite a full-sized mouse, but it's the largest cord-storing mouse I was able to find on Amazon, so I get the impression that most people buy these for travel as opposed to keeping their desks tidy. I also thought it was aesthetically unappealing that the cable enters/exits the mouse from the side of the front instead of the middle, but I discovered that this is to allow the user to retract the USB connector into the mouse along with the cable. When I open the compartment again, the USB connector is attached to the compartment's lid by a clip that makes it easy to pull back out - a good bit of design for someone who might actually use the mouse for travel. My unusual preferences aside, this mouse is well-made and exactly meets the expectations I had when I bought it.

It's a computer mouse that works and can be easily stored. It works just fine.Only grievance I had is that the scroller gets locked up if you're holding down the left clicker. Other than that it's a normal computer mouse.

Sleek, easy to use and works on many surfaces much better than any red laser that I've used in the past. This includes on shiny and multi wood grain desk tops. This is a natural fit for a PC and comes with the standard USB port. cord retracts well.I'm using on a mac which only has the C thunderbolt ( tiny little annoying usb port ). I did have to buy a separate adapter to make this ( or any normal usb work ). But this is not the mouses problem it is a make thing. Otherwise, the Mac works very well with the mouse and honestly it is a thousand times better than using the million finger gestures a mac requires.

I have been using this mouse for a year with a Dell Windows 7 laptop. I like how I can make the cord any length I need and not have to mess with batteries or losing the USB transmitter from a cordless mouse. It seems to be rugged because it's always in my backpack in case I need it. No issues with the feel or clicking noise in the one got like some other reviewers mentioned.

I'm wondering if some of the negative reviews are from inconsistency in manufacturing. Since I can only review the mouse that I received, I have to give it 5 stars. I have never had a problem with the functionality compared to other mice, and the retractable cord has been great for travel around town and to other cities. I have had this mouse going on 4 years without any noticeable wear and tear or loss of functionality. It's a clever product to maintain the same form factor of a large mouse while getting the cord out of the way for travel.

I bought a retractable mouse but didn't pay attention to dimensions and it was tiny so I returned it. I looked high and low for a "normal size" mouse. Since I work in people's homes as a social worker I was tired of unplugging my desk mouse which has like a 4 food cord and just got in the way. The only issue I have with this kind is the actual cord is quite thin and I'm not sure how long it will take before it snaps. Also when you pull the cord maybe 6 inches it curls up instead of laying flat so it still gets in my way.
