on my 5th batch of hooch....does good work...i would suggest the assessories to open the lid....been using my belt to pry open but does just fine...overall good quality. easy to clean and brews up just fine

Good fermentor. Thin walls so try not to put a dent in it. But the opening is great . You can get your arm inside with a soft cloth to wipe any stubborn residue .

Very happy with this fermenter it came with everything you need it's large easy to clean. The transparent plastic makes it easier to see everything and it's seems decently durable and will last a long time there could be 2 improvements one the rubber could fit in around the cap to seal it tight better and 2 there could be a spicket. The plastic is very thin I had to clean it and sanitize it a few times before use. But over all good. Thank you

I tighten the lid, but when its time to unscrew it, WHAT A PAIN! Its tough. It tightens shut for some reason

I have been using carboys for a long time in my fermentation. These are almost exclusively what I use now for the first fermentation of my apples in the cider. I do not squeeze the juice, but macerate the apples. These are the easiest thing to clean out after the first fermentation, and indeed, if you want to ferment the final in them, it’s easy to get the yeast dust out of the bottom.

Ordered 2 of these. Both did not have the stopper or airlock.

Great product. I use it for beer. I'm on my 3rd all grain batch. It is light weight, easy to clean, safer than glass, and you can see the krausen forming on the beer. Customer support was very responsive. I needed another gasket, and Ohio Brew sent one out. This is great deal.

This is our second Fermonster Wide Mouth Carboy. They work great for our homebrew. Beer is sticky stuff and yes the lid can be hard to get loose but we always find a way. The large mouth makes cleaning easy and the large size gives us lots of room also being able to see what's going on inside as apposed to a bucket. Ours arrived with everything as shown in the description.
