Nice Electric Scooter for Commuting and Rides
As an adult looking for a comfortable, efficient, and reliable commuting option, this scooter has ticked all the boxes for me. First off, the powerful 350W motor really stands out. It delivers smooth and effortless acceleration, allowing me to cruise comfortably at speeds of up to 15.5 mph. Whether I’m riding on smooth roads or tackling a few bumps along the way, the large 14" pneumatic tires provide excellent traction and stability, making the ride feel safe and secure. Even on slightly rougher terrain, I can glide over it with ease, which has made it perfect for leisurely town cruises and quick errands around the block and the suspension absorbs bumps and shocks efficiently, ensuring a smooth ride. The large, anti-slip deck gives me ample space to stand comfortably, even during extended rides. Plus, the seat design is very nice, it makes this scooter feel more like an electric bike, and the seated position is perfect for people who are new to riding electric scooters. I felt very comfortable and confident when learning how to ride it.

The Electric Scooter with Seat is a game-changer for adult riders seeking comfort, power, and convenience all in one sleek design. From the moment you hop on, the padded seat offers a comfortable and ergonomic ride, which is perfect for longer commutes or leisurely rides around town. The scooter’s frame feels sturdy and well-balanced, and the wide deck gives you plenty of foot space for added stability and control. With a stylish, modern look and quality materials, the Astro stands out as both practical and eye-catching.Performance-wise, the scooter truly delivers. Its powerful motor provides smooth acceleration and can easily handle small inclines without breaking a sweat. The battery life is impressive, giving you a reliable range for commuting or errands without constant recharging. The addition of both throttle and pedal-assist modes allows riders to choose between relaxed cruising or a more active ride. The digital display is bright and easy to read, showing important stats like speed and battery level at a glance.Safety and convenience are also top priorities with the scooter . The bright headlight and taillight ensure visibility in low-light conditions, and the responsive braking system adds an extra layer of confidence on the road. Overall, the Electric Scooter with Seat is a fantastic option for adults looking for a reliable, stylish, and comfortable way to get around—whether for commuting, errands, or just enjoying the ride.

Excellent electric scooter
The media could not be loaded. This electric scooter is well made, has a reliable seat, smooth acceleration, and easy assembly. I've been using this scooter for a while now, and it makes getting around a lot easier. I use it to go to the neighborhood store or just ride for fun. The seat is comfortable and I can adjust it to a height that's right for me. The basket is great for carrying things like groceries or bags, and it rides very smoothly, even over small bumps, and the speed is just right, not too fast, not too slow. The battery lasts long enough that I can use it for a few days before recharging.

Horrible company, scooter can barely make it up hills
Update: Gotrax never sent me a replacement tire tube, despite telling me they did. After giving me the runaround for several weeks, they told me to purchase tire tubes size (and I am quoting them directly from the email) " 14"x2.5" ". They said they woud reimburse. Fine. I trusted that the information they gave me was accurate, however the tire tubes I got arrived today. They are not the right size. The size listed in this ad for the ASTRO is " 14"x2.125" "; the size they gave me is for a different model. I'm beyond frustrated at this point. I haven't been able to use my scooter since July 14th. It is now September 9th. I will have to re-order the right size and again ask them to reimburse me for the cost. Their customer service team is in China so it's not as if I can get this resolved in real time.------------Update: my rear tire went flat randomly and i could not pump it up. A month ago GoTrax customer support say they would send me 2 new replacement tires since they are a special kind. I have yet to receive the tires. They cannot give me a tracking number. For several days they keep telling me they’ll check the warehouse. I have mobility issues and can’t drive so this is my backup. I’ve been depressed and not having transportation is adding to all of my other problems making me $uicidal. I just want to replace my tire. They won’t give me a tracking number and have not just re-sent tires to me. I’m extremely angryUpdate: after charging the scooter all night, the battery only had 3 bars. Right now I don’t feel safe traveling longer than 5 miles unless I’ll be able to charge the battery at my destination. I contacted customer support because it seems to me that the battery is faulty and I would rather have a replacement then to be stranded somewhere in winter with a ~65 lb scooter that doesn’t work. I will update once this is resolved through customer service.I found this scooter while looking for an affordable electric scooter that was equipped with a basket. The package was delivered to the wrong apartment, and considering the box weighs quite a bit, it was a workout to pull it up a set of stairs and over to my apartment. Once I got it inside and opened the box, setup was fairly easy. The handlebars come disconnected but are easy to connect. The only things left to do were add the seat, basket, and then plug in the battery.I modified the scooter with a larger basket, rear-view mirror, and phone holder. I also got a Master Lock brand U-lock to use while out and about. The scooter comes with front and rear lights, and a little bell. The bell was in the way so I moved it to allow room for the mirror. The shocks can be adjusted depending on how much cushion you want. I didn’t adjust mine but I may loosen them a bit just to have a smoother ride.On my first ride I noticed that it accelerates nicely and fairly smoothly. The mechanism to go forward took a bit to getting used to, only because the scooters I rode previously were a bit different. I almost always ride at the max speed, and let off when going down hills. Higher speeds are possible while going down hill. On inclines the scooter slows a little bit, and even more if the incline is more than a 20 degree angle. Nonetheless, this was not an issue for me as I was not needing to go up steep inclines. I also weigh around 108 lbs, so I imagine someone weighing closer to the max limit of the scooter would have trouble. There is not a lot of “horse power” driving the motor so for people who want more speed and more power, I would recommend the 500W model rather than the 350W one that I bought. Another small thing I noticed is that - just after one ride, the grip tape is coming off in one of the corners. It’s not a huge deal, but as someone who used to skateboard - gripping her own boards - it’s not difficult to make sure the grip tape stays on properly. The grip tape itself is a little bit thin, so I might actually replace the grip tape myself. On my second right I noticed that on the way back from a ~3 mile round trip, the battery indication screen kept going from 3 bars to 2, interchanging between the two almost randomly. I charged the battery full overnight, and that issue did not happen the first day I rode it, and it had only charged for ~4 hours prior to that. I’m not sure if there is something wrong with my scooter, but I plan on seeing what the bars do when the battery drains lower. Another thing I noticed is that the breaks don’t function as well when roads are wet, so it’s something to be mindful for. This is true for bicycles as well so I was expecting that. I rode the scooter on a dry day and a wet day and it did fine both times. For the price, it is decent. The price dropped around $60 literally the day after I bought it, which meant the price for the 500W had dropped to the price I paid for this scooter, so I was feeling kind of bitter about that. I would have preferred the 500W, but the price point and shipping time for this one just worked out better for me. In the future if I were to buy another one, or replace this one, I would get one with more power for sure.
