Mother's 100% Natural Oat Bran Cereal, 16-Ounce Box (Pack of 6)

This is the best oat bran cereal. None of the others matches it.It can be hard to track down and Amazon hasn't always carried it. So I'm always so relieved when I see it here and buy a 6 mo stock. Great to have it on Prime too.My 94 year old mother has been eating this for breakfast for oh, the last 30 years or so. She started it when her doctor told her she had to reduce her cholesterol. And she did.It's been her daily breakfast ever since (w 1/2 banana sliced, a sprinkling of wheat bran, and a tblspn of yogurt).It also makes The Best Muffins (add raisins) - they have a kind of creaminess because the bran is so smooth. My mom baked those almost daily when she was working at getting the cholesterol down. They're simple but yummy addictive - and good for you.I think her oat bran cereal combo breakfast has helped keep my mom alive and healthy all these years. That plus her daily chocolate and sherry!

quaker's mother's oat bran is an excellent hot oat bran cereal. in fact, it may even be better than quaker's oat brand! and that's saying a lot! mother's oat bran is smooth, creamy and has a nice texture. the flavor is good, especially when you add blueberries and honey to it! i'm not sure why i've never seen it in grocery stores. i used to see quaker's oat bran in grocery stores a long time ago. it is interesting to note that mother's oat bran is made by quaker oats. i would heartily recommend mother's oat bran to anyone who likes hot oatmeal or hot oat bran. it may be the best i've ever eaten!

I love oatmeal, usually rolled oats, and have it every day. Since I started eating oat bran, I have it 5-6 days and regular oatmeal 1-2 days each week. The flavor of oat bran is amazing and has a few more nutrients than regular oatmeal.

This is my very favorite AM breakfast! Creamy and a good amount of fiber. I recommend it over standard oatmeal.
