A good "just in case" kit.
I purchased this knife/flashlight combo kit for my wife, who is in an Army Reserves medical unit. After seeing a knife I'd recently bought for myself (MTech Extreme Tactical folder) she commented that she'd like to have something similar. Since the MTech was a bit more on the flashy side but not what I'd consider a workhorse, I decided to see what was available in the same price range but better suited for more utility purposes. While I don't think I'd buy this Humvee with the intention of it being a serious duty knife, I figured that it (and the flashlight) would be appropriate for her to keep in the car and to carry during her "one weekend a month" drills.Although I don't put much stock in add-ons like seatbelt cutters and window-breakers as are found on this knife, the handle construction seems sturdy enough that it should survive at least one trip through a windshield. On knives with serrated blades, I always consider whether or not there is any finger protection in case a sawing attempt goes awry, and this handle design offers at least a little defense against skinned knuckles from runaway tree branches or whatever else a person might try to saw with this knife. My wife immediately commented on how comfortable the grip and overall weight are, and I tend to agree. I didn't try to open the knife one-handed, but locking and unlocking feel secure. There is no wiggle in the blade in either position. The flashlight isn't anything to brag about, although it is pretty bright for something so compact and powered by a single AAA battery. It's functional, but that's about all I'll say about it. Although some reviewers state that they'd carry it in a pocket, I'd probably only do so in a shirt or coat pocket that wasn't likely to bump into anything, as the flashlight is pretty fragile. Inserting a battery for the first time demonstrated that it's not anywhere near as sturdy as a mini Maglite or even the least expensive tactical lights. But if you need to shine light in a dark room, it will suffice. In the event that my wife gets deployed or wants to get a proper survival knife, I'll look for something bigger that inevitably will cost quite a bit more, but for her current needs, the Humvee will do just fine. My opinion is that the price I paid is reasonable for the knife alone, and that the flashlight is a nice extra, nothing more.

Nice tough combo.
The knife features a seat belt cutter, carbide tipped glass breaker, half serrated blade, pocket clip, as well as a glass fiber anti slip grip. It is perfect for a everyday carry kit and the mini light is better than my mini Maglight and is perfect for keeping in your vehicle. Both are sturdy & heavy, so they should hold up well. And for $15 its a great deal.Product Description - Knife: Black anti-reflective coating. Emergency seatbelt cutter. Glass fiber anti-slip grip. Metal pocket clip. Partially serrated 3 1/4 blade. Mini Light: 1/2 watt ultra-bright pure white LED light. 4" overall length. Detachable lanyard. Operates on 1 AA alkaline battery.

Eh, its ok.
Knife was sharp! Sliced my thumb within 15 seconds of taking it out of the package. haha. The knife is a bit cheap feeling though. As for the light, it works pretty good so far. It seems to be losing a little bit of luminosity though. I do use it a lot though.

Good Combo
I got this knife and light because I was looking for a replacement for Leatherman knife that had gone AWOL. I wanted something a little better that had a seatbelt cutter and a glass breaker in it. This Combo was one of the cheapest I could find. I'm not sure who makes this knife but I trust if Hummer is going to put its name on it won't be a complete piece of crap. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the knife and the light. What really surmised me was the power of this little 1watt 1AA battery LED Light. Very bright in darkness and able to temporarily blind at a few feet out. The push cap is responsive and fits very well into my pockets replacing the Princeton Tec light I had been carrying around.Onto the knife its much heavier than I expected. All mettle construction. Semi smooth opening but nothing a little WD-40 did not fix. I have not yet had a opportunity to try how well the glass breaker works (let's hope I don't) but it looks as well integrated as any I have seen on other knives. The non slip finish is only on one side and is not where you hold the knife. It's kind of pointless but it does not detract from the knife at all. Overall if they made the knife a little lighter it would have gotten that 5th star. For the money this is a very good combo.

Very durable and fantastic design
Fantastic knife, I use it every day and it hasn’t dulled. I’ve bought for this for many family members. It’s good looking too!

Great knife and the light is awesome too
I'm an EMT, I got the knife in the mail around 1pm, around 11pm, there was a terrible car accident in my town. This combo was such a great help. The flashlight is super bright for only 1 LED. This knife also has a window punch on the bottom, the details on amazon just barely touch on it. The knife is pretty heavy, it looks and feels like a very expensive tool. My only complaint which isn't really that big of a deal is that the grip on one side is a little to rough which gets uncomfortable after a while. But the only times that I would really be using this is at a car crash and I'm wearing huge gloves anyway so it's not a deal breaker. If you have a use for it or even not, it's an awesome knife and I would recommend it to anyone, EMT or not.

Cheap looking
Returned it for much better brand. This was pricey yet looked cheap. I think the flashlight was thrown in to help sell the knife!!
