Alima PureSatin Matte Foundation - Warm 2

I've been dealing with perioral dermatitis for the last 10 months and typically won't put on makeup unless I'm leaving the house. I've been using an aloe-based makeup or even a tinted sunscreen but decided a powder would probably work best to keep from looking so shiny all the time. Alima's foundation is gorgeous! Best part is it's safe for sensitive skin and I feel so much more confident when I'm out and about.I've recently had success using over-the-counter anti-fungal cream for my PD which has cleared it up significantly over the last week. (It's a MIRICLE.) I have applied this foundation a few times while using the cream without an issue. My guess is that because it's a powder it 1) helps to keep my skin dry as needed with anti-fungals, and 2) doesn't take away the effectiveness of the medication as a liquid foundation might.As long as Alima makes this foundation, I will continue to wear it. I haven't felt so confident is such a long time.

I have 2 main problems with foundation: 1. It makes me break out. 2. It makes my face look pink. I have neither of those issues with this foundation. It goes on well with a brush over various moisturizers. For obvious reasons, it’s very dry, which would make it great for oily skin. My skin tends to be on the dry side since I started using Retinol. As long as I apply moisture prior to applying this foundation, it gives an amazingly natural looking finish. It’s buildable too which is nice for when I do have some acne or discoloration I’m trying to hide.

I ordered this mineral makeup based on the features in the ad. I used a primer and was stunned at how it dried up my skin. It actually accentuates all the fine lines on your face. I immediately washed it off. There was no return shipping information in the package. Waste of money!!

No itchy and hold up well through the day.
