Carburetor Replace For Mikuni HSR42mm HSR TM42-6 42mm Fits for Harley Evo Evolution Twin Cam Motorcycle with Choke Cable

The carb worked almost as well as my Real Mukuni,The only thing I have had to do was adjust the accelerator pump, go to a smaller low speed jet and adjust the float. Really nothing more than you may have to do to any other carburetor. Now that it’s dialed in it performs very well. Oh, and it’s actually quiter than my Mikuni, you Mikuni owners know what I’m talking about.Now that there are a few miles on the bike I’ll give a bit of an update. The buddy who owns the bike this carb is on gig I. A bit of a bind and ran ethanol E10 fuel in it and started having some flooding problems and wanted to do a jet change. The plug in the bowl stripped out when removing it, my guess is the threads where crossed when assembled at the factory. I did see that as some one else’s complaint as well. Last time I made all changes with the bowl off because of setting the float. I’ll update again if I find any other issues.

The media could not be loaded. My only complaint is that the jets that come in the carburetor are not clearly marked the sizes of them. So I used the jets from the old carburetor. Immediately after installing the fuel overflow started leaking on the floor, that wasn't the carburetors fault. It was actually something from my dirty gas tank that got into the float needle. Simple remedy to that is to shut the gas off at the petcock and let the bike run until it dies, works every time. After that no more fuel out of the overflow. Nothing leaked on the carburetor, took it apart top to bottom. It looks just beautiful. This is one of those buys that I'm really happy about.I'm running 25 on the pilot, 160 on the main. 1993 Harley Sportster 1200..The extra stuff they throw in is really nice too.💯

Sent me a incomplete carburator missing the jets; the accelerator pump stuck; a dirty float bowl; basically sent me a used carburator!

Great carburetor, unfortunately the throttle stopper was broken off when recieved item probably in transit. Returning item and have ordered another already as I bought this item previously for another bike and its proven to be a great performing carb. Possible it could be packed a bit tighter and more protected from damage in transit

Awesome Awesome Carb. Can't get any better. And you see all the stuff you get with it. Wow so cool... And what a terrific price. Seems to have added at least 20hp to my bike.. can't wait to install carb..
