Snazaroo Classic Face Paint, Metallic Silver, 18Ml

Bought for World Book Day. We had another silver face paint used once the previous year but from experience they dry up so need replacing every year.We opened it on the morning of dress up to find the product was rock hard and dry, completely unusable even with a wet sponge or wet brush.Luckily we salvaged enough from our old partially dried up paint to save the day.We have used this brand before, maybe it was old stock so we will not risk buying face paints from Amazon again.

I've seen some reviews saying theirs turned up hard and dry and went straight in the bin - it will turn up solid, most face paint does. You need to activate it with water! Worked perfectly for me.

Have used Snazaroo face paint for many years and for multiple purposes (fancy dress, carnival, football matches etc). It’s easy to apply with a damp sponges and spreads easily. It has a good finish and doesn’t feel like you are wearing paint. It’s also easy to wash off at the end of the day.This particular paint is a nice bronze colour with a metallic tinge.Unless you are a face paint artist you are unlikely to ever use all of the paint in the pot, I have a selection of these in different colours that I have collected over the years.

I've bought it to put some golden spots on my hair.The paste is soooo hard that was impossible to use it with a paintbrush.I've put it in the microwave for 7-8 seconds and it was the only way to make it soft enough to work with it.After 10 minutes, as soon as ot cools doen, it turns back to a piece of rock.

I bought this gold face paint as I too was going to a Bond themed party and needed to paint myself gold as the famous victim of goldfinger.I wasn't sure the 18ml container would be enough to cover most of my body but there was lots of product left. When applying with a damp sponge (also bought on Amazon for facepainting) it went on very easy and coverage was brilliant. I added some of my own glitter spray ontop for added sparkle too!I wasn't sure about the staying power of the paint but after the party all in all it stayed in place- note though & be warned there was some transfer onto a sofa arm I was sitting on but it wiped off easy as it was leather, also the bed sheet I was wearing had gold transfered onto it (only a little), but I put it in a normal cool wash and there was not a trace of gold in sight!As for me, all the gold came off so easily in the shower and didn't need mad scrubbing to take off and the bathroom was left clean too :)I don't have overly sensitive skin but I found no irritation using this, but I guess if you do; like all products do a skin test patch first in advance of needing to wear it.I would recomend this product but take head of the above cautions- also the colour after the night wore on looked a little on the green side (a hint) which is why I've deducted a star, but I would buy this brand again.
