TevaM Hurricane 4 mens Sport Sandal

100% perfect and comfortable.

I bought these to wear on vacation to Costa Rica. On the fourth day of my trip, I wore them to the beach and hiking through a national park. After that single day I was unable to wear them again because I cut the outside of my pinky toe, big toe, and back of my ankle from the points of contact on the sandal. The material isn't soft, and once mixed with sand and water becomes veritable sandpaper. I feel like the cuts wouldn't be as bad if the sandal fit well. I ordered a size 9 and 10 at the same time to compare sizes. My toes hung off the edges of the 9s and I had room to spare on the 10s. I kept the 10 and tightened them. Teva really needs to make mid sizes.On the plus side the sole is pretty grippy and thick, I was able to walk on wet jagged rocks with no problems.Can't speak for the durability as I wore them only a handful of times on my trip. My cuts can't heal properly, every time I wear them they get worse, so I completely stopped wearing the sandals for the 2nd half of my two-week trip.

I loved Teva. Have always been very satisfied with their product until now. I don't mind spending almost a hundred bucks on sandals IF they hold up for at least a season. The velcro strip attached to the strap is already coming off after a week of use while on vacation. This is happening on both and now I'm stuck because I can't return them and need to figure out a way to repair them before I use them this summer. I won't buy them again and will look elsewhere for another brand.

Excelente para caminar en pavimentos o cualquier superficie urbana. Rápidamente las aflojas. No sacan ampollas. NO las recomiendo para trails largos, fácilmente se meten piedras pequeñas. Tampoco las recomiendo para cruzar ríos y caminar mucho tiempo con el pie mojado, para eso mejor compra unas KEEN.

It's still the same Teva design I've been wearing since the 90's but the material quality has gone down over the years. The first pair I bought lasted for almost 4 summers. This pair had noticeable wear after 4 weeks. I bought this in May and I hope it'll last until September.Back then I was backpacking across Europe with my Tevas, 30 years later, I'm walking a lot less so you can see how far the quality has fallen.

This is my third pair of Tevas since the late 90's. Thought I would try these as they were a little cheaper than other models. The strap material is not soft like on the other models and where it is sewn into the attachment points it rubbed the outside of my ankles. Not sure what the product people at Teva were thinking or if they even tested this sandal by wearing it around. Not comfortable whatsoever. I returned them and purchased a more expensive model which fit and feel great. While the sole may be better on this model, overall they are no better than some of the lesser or store brands.
