I like the ease of use, rich color, dries quick w/a nice shine, and last if taken care of!

I used to do gel nails at home but developed a gel allergy. I have never had much success keeping regular polish on my nails, it always ended up chipped or smudged. I saw a lot about Essie's Gel Couture polishes and wanted to give it a shot. I saw this color on Essie's TikTok page and was in love but could not find it in stores near me. I was excited to find it online and was even more excited when it came because it was beautiful. The color was gorgeous and I got multiple comments on my nails, with a few people even asking me where I had gotten them done. Even my Mom, who doesn't like painting her nails asked if I could give her a manicure with this color.For me, the polish did not last the 2-weeks, but it was easy to remove and quick to dry, so I didn't mind needing to redo them after a few days. If/when I run out, I will purchase again!

It really does last 1-2 weeks!

Big fan of Essie couture. Easy to use and long lasting. This particular color requires 3 thin coats of polish. If I get it to thick I have trouble with the polish peeling off. Most colors I get 10 days out of, but where as this is so dark, I only get 5-7. After that there is visible chips at tip of nails and I remove. Removes easily with polish remover, no soaking required.

I know the actual color of this is beautiful but I believe I got a bad batch. The quality doesn’t match the others I’ve received. It has a very watery consistency and takes very long to dry. Smudges even hours later. Even after applying 2-3 coats, it still looks cheaply thin. It doesn’t apply well because it’s so watery, and dries in a way where some areas look lighter than others. I wish it wasn’t a bad batch because it’s a great fall color.

I keep repurchasing this one. Tons of compliments on color and this brand lasts and lasts with the top coat combo.

Well I'm not really a fan of the color but I can't return it so. We'll see how long it lasts and if it's easy to come off. I just feel like this color is for an older woman.
