Easy set up, good for light work not professional heavy work. Perfect for hobbies and limited budget

Some of the reviews say that this has insufficient torque but I have to say that's not my experience.Securely screwed to my workbench the grinder coped well with sharpening my chisels and trimming down metal cleates.The only thing I would say is there is no braking and the wheels rotate for quite a while after it's turned off and it would be very easy to forget it's running. For that reason it's not ideal for mounting right at the front of the bench and probably not the safest tool for someone who's never used a bench grinder before. It's not unsafe but it would benefit from braking when turned off but then again for the price it's a very good piece of kit.I've dropped 1 star for the lack of breaking but I'm being ultra critical at this price point.

I got this for my garage and bought a wire wheel for it as well and it doesn’t have the power to start up with the wire wheel on it without having the side cover off
