Very smooth taste

Highly recommend this. I grind a batch each morning for coffee using a drip machine and the coffee comes up flavorful with a brightness and citrus profile thats very enjoyable to drink.

This coffee is everywhere in Rwanda. I lived there for 2.5 years and while not the best coffee I had from there, it’s still consistent and a little taste of home. It is good, balanced, medium roast and makes a good daily blend.

Love this coffee and glad I stumbled upon it. It tastes like you are getting a super high end cup from a coffee shop, and you get over a full pound. Most bags of beans these days are 10oz or 12oz, but with this coffee you get over 16 oz which is a great value for regular coffee drinkers.

If you like well balanced coffee, do not buy this coffee. It's bitter and does not have any flavors as advertised. It's really kinda nasty tasting.

I'm disappointed with the flavor of this coffee. I cannot detect any of the flavoring like chocolate and fruit that comes with the advertising. I put it in the "just OK" category.

Because I am very finicky and environmentally/politically oriented, I had to write this review. I am so impressed with Gorilla coffee: the taste, the certification by Fair trade International, the communal self-sufficiency that the Rwandan coffee farmers have developed and the fact that coffee cultivation is creating jobs and empowering Rwanda communities.So if you want to drink delicious coffee that has influenced sustainability with environmental respect in Rwanda, Gorilla Coffee is the coffee to buy. It doesn't get better or easier than this purchase to positively impact the world and treat yourself to excellent coffee.
