Unpleasant Odor
I've used calcium powders from other brands and they were odorless. This one has a strong unpleasant odor that makes it difficult to use.Correction: This review was meant for the 'Nutricost Magnesium Glycinate Powder’…my mistake. The Calcium Citrate Powder is fine—has no odor…

Does NOT dissolve in hot or cold
This powder is supposed to dissolve in water. It just settles at the bottom of any container - after stirring vigorously, shaking....even in hot liquids!!! Yuck - get to the bottom and drinking wet powder!!! Don't think it is doing any good...there is no flavor, so that is a plus!!!

Great for coffee or tea, I don't even notice it!
I don't like taking multiple pills and like this powder option to put in my hot coffee, tea, or shakes. Calcium citrate also absorbs the best. I don't do a full scoop which is 650 since the body only absorbs 500 per dose. I take 3/4 scoop per dose, so about 500 mg twice a day with my magnesium (250 mg), D, K, and C for optimal absorption. The only downside is that the powder is very fine and will go everywhere if you're not careful. When I first opened it, I took a sanitized butter knife to locate the scoop and keep the scoop upright inside so it doesn't get powder on the handle. I also store this in the refrigerator door so it doesn't cake up. Enjoy!

Not for Me
There are lots of good reviews for this product and the brand is a quality brand - I had no trouble with the calcium dissolving in water and mixed it with magnesium citrate (ratio 2 calcium to 1 magnesium) - all powders of this nature need to be stirred more than once or the powder drops to the bottom of the glass. What I had a problem with was that I would wake up in the early morning when my liver was doing it's job and feel absolutely miserable and this carried throughout the day. I took the calcium in the evening after dinner for about 10 days. I kept thinking what is WRONG with me and decided to stop using it. As soon as I stopped taking it my natural energy returned thank the Gods. To be fair, I am unfortunately a highly sensitive individual and can rarely tolerate oral vitamins and minerals.
