Overpriced and Underwhelming
We’re Neapolitan pizza people, like crazy twice-a-week people. We started getting serious about our pizza this past year and began researching and experimenting with ingredients. We were excited to try this cheese because many of our other favorite ingredients come from Italy. While we knew this product came at a premium price, we were hopeful it would take our delicious pies over the top. The raw cheese didn’t taste bad, but it didn’t taste delicious either. Hoping it would magically transform when on pizza, it underwhelmed even more. Maybe this cheese is perfect for other use cases, but we regrettably can’t recommend it for Neapolitan pizza.

Not very good
I make pizza at home in my wood fired oven, so I was excited to have authentic cheese from Italy.I use the Tipo 00 flour, San Marzano tomatoes in the sauce, so this was the final piece to the puzzle. It melted fine, but the flavor was not good. I ate some by itself and was not impressed.I am now looking toward Polly-O or some other brand for my pizza, and I am out 200 bucks. Expensive lesson.

ORDER DID NOT ARRIVE FROZEN
This order did not arrive frozen. I sent this as a gift to be used at leisure. Very disappointed.

Delicious
Packaging was excellent. Product arrived still frozen. Smooth product texture and delicious flavor. Thaw according to instructions. Dry them on paper towels; get them a dry as possible. Then mix, or blender, fresh basil (packed handful) , garlic (only a little bit) , Italian sweet parsley (packed handful) in enough olive oil to cover the Mozzarella balls. Some crushed pine nuts are optional. Cover and let marinade, if possible!, in fridge for a day or two.
