Seem good so far
I've literally only just tested applying them (I only have 3rd party controllers, so I wanted to make sure they'd even work --- FWIW: I tried them on a Flydigi Vader stick (they all use the same sticks), a Gamesir T4K (I *think* Gamesir sticks all have the same domes), and a Thunderobot G50S).As many other reviewers have said, they CAN be very tricky to get on, but once I realized exactly how I was supposed to bend it back, it was then easy to pop them on & have it close around the dome of the stick. This may be uncommon, but personally I notice when I move an analog stick around (especially at full extension in any direction), I tend to actually push it from the edge of the dome in the direction I want it to go (as opposed to putting my thumb on the top of the stick & directing it with the tip of my thumb). Maybe I'm just not precise with my control, lol. That's where the "so far" comes in, because during testing I found that if I put enough pressure on it from the side, it slipped off VERY easily (though, while moving it by touching the top, it was fine. I should also specify that this was from the literal side of the tall-cap. Putting my thumb on the edge of the rim, "pushing" down & in the direction I wanted, I could get fairly wild with the stick and it would be fine). Now, I acknowledge testing a controller without a game often results in more aggressive movements that you might not actually achieve during gameplay. (Also, I should note that it stayed on best with the Gamesir, which has the roughest texture along the rim of the dome, of my 3 controllers).I'll also say I went with the Quantum Black. Both because they claimed to be more matte, and because I was unsure of what texture pattern I'd like best, and these ones (at least the 4 concave caps) have a "very similar" pattern to the best seller offered by who is probably the industry leader in thumbstick caps (& if that many people like galaxy, it's probably good - honestly, that was the deciding factor between these & some from a reptilian competitor). What I liked though, was that these PlayVital ones are (allegedly) universal, and it gave many options for size & concave/convex. For someone like me who is new to using them, I wasn't sure what height or shape I'd like best (meanwhile I'd have to have paid $4 more for only 2 caps, usually 2 different sizes (so I can't leave them on multiple controllers), from the other provider). Especially because while I thought "hell yea, get that aiming stick as tall as possible!!", after the brief testing, I wouldn't be shocked if that's too tall (for an extended period of play), for my shorter fingers (which could also explain why I do the rim-pushing method sometimes), and I wind up using the medium instead.Overall, I'd say this is a very good buy & I'd recommend them for anyone who is new to thumbstick caps.

(for Steam Deck) very grippy and helpful, a bit tough to install, a bit too easy to remove
I bought a previous set of thumbstick caps, from another company, for my Steam Deck. They were decent, but only came in short and tall. I ordered this set because it had a mid height pair and the diamond grain pattern looked like it might be better.I definitely prefer the mid height, and they do feel better overall than the other brand. The diamond grain pattern, which is convex, seems more effective than the cracked bomb pattern, which is concave. I'm not sure if the pattern or shape is the determining factor, but the cracked bomb/concave caps just didn't seem to grip as well. They also fit better in my TomToc bag (which provides a snugger fit than I expected), tall caps stick out too far. So no need to take them off and reattach them just to carry the Deck around safely. The only issues I have, which aren't deal-breakers, I mentioned in the headline.I found them tougher to install than expected. Flipping the small lip that holds them to the stick is a bit tricky, and it took several tries to get each on. Once I got them on, I ran into the other issue. As I titled them slightly to get a better look to confirm they were fully on, they just came off. Almost no effort. While normal use doesn't involve moving them like that, and it seems like they'll be fine when used as intended, it was a little concerning how little they held on. It'd be more concerning if I intended to use the tall caps, since those seem more likely to slip off.I think the problem, which the other brand avoided, is that the lip is too short. This makes it harder to pull back to attach the cap AND easier for it to slip off if pushed too far. The lip on the other brand was noticeably longer, but those caps were actually easier to attach AND took more effort to remove. All that said, the caps grip the sticks enough that I'm not super worried about them. Would just have been nice if they were just a little more secure.

Great Kontrol Freek Alternative
It is a bit of a chore to flip them inside out and get them installed, but they fit great on my 8bitdo Ultimate Bluetooth controller. I always preferred domed sticks, and I do not play shooters on controller, so I don't need high-rise grips. If you are like me, Kontrol Freek does not make a low dome stick, so this is your best option. I found the concave grips to be very comfortable, but they are only made in medium height, so I currently am sticking with the low domed on both sticks. They are pretty grippy, the texture is quite intense, and the rubber is not as soft as my control freeks. I would recommend them if KF does not make a compatible product for you or your device.

Watch the video on their website. You’ll be able to install them.
When I first tried to install these I was like what the hell, there’s no way these things fit. Then in a last ditch effort to makes sense out these I referred to the manual. It tells you how to actually install them. When you get them they’ll probably be cold (depending on your climate) just work with them the rubber will warm and they will be more pliable and easier to work with. You’ll understand. This is just my initial thoughts as I’ve haven’t actually used them in play.I’ve seen people say they pop off. Now consider if your using a tall version of this grip and your pushing on the edge and not more on top most likely you will push them off, it’s exactly how you would push them to take them of. So mechanics are mechanics it’s just the way it is. But so they fit nicely. If I don’t come back to revise this review consider that I’m completely satisfied with the product.I’ll only revise if they fail (in my opinion). So far so good. Follow the video on their site. You’ll be good to go.Price wise: good price

Only the shortest size stay on
While I really like the shortest ones, and they don't come off, the rest of the sizes pop off when I am doing intense combat, which is very disruptive and irritating.
