Strong heat, large pot, good crawfish
Bought this to upgrade our crawfish boiler. This is amazing, heats up quickly, maintains the temperature thru the boil. It can fits1 sack plus potatoes, sausage, corn. The base is very sturdy, and it roars when running. It has a small kickstand to help take it out of the water.

Very well made.
This is undoubtedly the best boiling pot set up I have personally owned. Straight forward quality hardware and works extremely well. Should have another star.

Great cooker, Made in the USA
Loved this, used it for Thanksgiving as a turkey fryer. It's a tad too large for a turkey fryer, but it worked well. looking forward to the next one. Then a crab feast this summer.

Great size steamer if you want to steam a 1/2 a bushel of crabs with some room for corn
i bought this to steam Maryland crabs and everything went great. The drop in basket sits almost 3 inches off of the bottom of the pot so there is plenty of room for the beer/vinegar/water mixture. The basket will hold 4 dozen 6" crabs or steam 3 dozen and leave room for the corn on the cob. The burner works great and takes less than 10 minutes to get a rolling steam going with about 2" of liquid in the pot. Drop in the crabs(basket)and steam them 25-30 minutes and they will come out perfect!

A terrific crab boil pot for a crowd!
Did a low country boil for ten people. We ended up with twice as much food as needed and there was plenty of room for more food in the pot. The jet burner made QUICK work of bringing the pot to a boil! Expected 45 minutes to an hour to get to a boil but it seem like 10 minutes. It boiled faster than we could get everything together to toss into the pot. Its great!

Works Great, but Requires Constant Stirring
The 82qt pot worked great for producing tomatoe sauce. You must add tomatoes to the pot in small enough quantities so that you can easily stir them to prevent scorching the pot bottom. The burner is the reason for the 4. The single burner orifice only heated one spot on the pot so it was vitally important for constant stirring. A yellow flame was produced at a lower temperature setting, which heavily sooted the pot bottom and required additional cleaning time. I found out that this system was meant to boil water after I received it, hence constant stirring is required for boiling anything other than water. I do recommend this system, just be aware of the stirring requirement.

It will be great for low country boils
My previous boiler cooker was borrowed and not returned. This one is a better boiler cooker and I will enjoy doing a low country boil with it.
