I have tried and tried with this pen to get it to write more than a sentence before it dries up. I have to shake the pen quite vigorously to get it to go again. I took it apart and soaked in warm water in case there was something inside obstructing the flow of ink, but it was just the same. The cartridge appears to be in firmly, so I'm at a loss as to why this pen is not able to perform. I have bought much cheaper pens which have given a better performance than this one. I'm very disappointed.

Sadly this jotter pen is made with plastic unlike my other jotter pen that has a metal casing. I’ve been really careful not to tighten it up after refilling the ink. However there are early signs of it cracking already and I’ve only had it a few weeks and probably only use it once a week for writing birthday cards etc... It’s a shame as I really like my jotter pens and use my other one all the time and no quality issues there at all.

Very poorly manufactured. Barrel cracked and ink cartridge fell out, even though I had it seated correctly. Very disappointed by such a reputable company for 'allowing' this to occur. Got a refund, however, I really want a green parker fountain pen that is sensibly manufactured and writes well.Very poor Parker, very poor indeed.

Classic ballpoint, bright colours, more stylish than cheap throwaway pens and reasonably good value, but might be a bit on the small side for those who prefer a chuckier and heavier pen. The XL version, a centimetre longer and slightly girthier is double the price.

I went for this as I've mislaid my other pen. I used to love Parker's, but this is scratchier than I thought it would be. But to be honest, many fountain pens are these days. As I use a computer all day, it's lovely to hand write with a fountain pen. I never put the cap on to write either - balance is better without.
