Great product, has fit our needs and lifestyle
This has probably been one of our favorite purchases. I've always wanted to try owning a hot tub, and my wife has sensitive skin, so for her to go along with it, I needed to buy something with as few chemicals as possible. We were looking at $10K+ real saltwater hot tubs, but then decided to try one of these for $1K to see how much we liked owning a hot tub before making a $10K investment.Overall, we've loved having it the last 18 months and use it almost daily in the colder months. (We do have it set up indoors in an unfinished area of our home next to a dehumidifier and floor drain as we live in Minnesota and these little 120V tubs just don't have the power to stay hot outside in harsh cold.) It's taken a little work and effort for me to get good at maintaining it, but I think a bit of work and ingenuity is a requirement every hot tub owner needs to embrace if you're going to own a hot tub. We love the bluetooth features which sets scheduling to fit our lifestyle (Sanitizer turns on overnight, and heater turns on from 7 AM- 10 PM) and the mostly chemical-free saltwater chlorination has been easy on our skin. Some downsides is that it's not very energy efficient, but for us it's worth the extra $30-$50 in electricity as we easily get that much happiness out of it. The original saltwater chlorinator also stopped working right before the 1 year mark, so Intex shipped us a new one under warranty. If it breaks in the future, I'll just buy a new one off intex's replacement parts web page for $75. You do get what you pay for, but it's filled our need of owning a hot tub.Maybe one day we'll buy our dream $10K+ saltwater hot tub, but for now this one has worked great.

Re-inflate air daily, even though properly followed directions at initial inflation stage of set-up
Pros:1.) Very nice looking spa esthetically. 2.) When consistently monitoring water temperature & air in the spa itself (due to air leaking out daily), the water, jets and bubbles feel amazing.Cons:1.) After inflating the spa by properly following all directions, it has lost a lot of air daily and has to be re-inflated each day. Can't seem to find a hole after checking with soapy water several times, so we can't even fix it with a patch. 2.) Poor engineering design of air pump to reinflate, because when needing to refill the spa with air every day, the whole connection has to be disassembled in order to not restrict air flow, as the directions also indicate, in order not to cause any damage to pump. 3.) The sanitation system does not work well. Although the filter nearest to the pump has good suction, the side filter has not had any suction at all and the water has remained cloudy since initial set-up even though all the salt and chemical levels are kept to read perfectly. 4.) The inflated part of the cover also loses air daily and becomes so flimsy, it needs to also be reinflated every couple of days. 5.) The headrests are not comfortable and have to be removed in order to secure the cover onto the spa. Because they are inflated & are an odd shape, there is no real place to store them, so they quickly get dirty laying on the deck & are at risk of obtaining a hold in them. 6.) There doesn't seem to be any memory for the timers, so if power is lost or they run through one cycle, the settings go away & need to be reprogrammed. 7.) My family is on the tall side, so even though there is room to stretch your legs out to the sides with two people in the spa, three people is a bit cramped and we wouldn't even attempt 4 people in the spa.

Not user friendly
This is my third intex hottub and by far the worst. Thought the jets and salt water would be a bonus. Jets work pretty good ,bubbles are stronger. The control panel sucks. Don’t work half the time it will not pair to phone not that that would do any good anyway. It automatically locks which drives me to drink. It shuts down if chemicals are not right. I haven’t got them right yet.. pairing your phone is a joke it only works on 2 g . I have both and it only picks up the five g? What good does your phone do if you are too far away from the system it doesn’t work. I thought it would be great for when i am out of town not! Much smaller than my last 2 and the bladder does not hold air. They should have stuck with the zipper cover. Stay with the chlorine models they are easy to dial in chemicals. No direction on what chemicals are needed for salt water tub. They have your fill out a form online and they will get back to you in 2 to 3 days. No they won’t! I have yet to hear back from them. Don’ waste your money on this model

Overall great product. Just a few minor changes for a five star rating
Only been a few days but so far so good. This is a great hot tub. I have read a lot of reviews before buying so I had a good idea of what to expect both good and bad. Only concerns that I would improve on would be that I would like to see an air gage come with this purchase and I would like to see improvement on making the heater work with the jets being on. I was in the tub a little over a half hour and the temp only dropped 2 degrees. I knew this already from reading reviews so not a big deal.. and allowing both jets and air bubbles work at the same time. I'm very happy with this purchase so far, no real complaints but these are just a few changes I would prefer to see made if possible.still love this hot tub overall.

Great anti stress therapy
We had a ‘portable’ hot tub for about 22 years on the deck. It finally gave up so we thought we’d replace it with something we could put in the house. This is PERFECT. Cheaper to run since it’s indoors. Very solid construction. You can even sit securely on the sides. The bubble action is very powerful and relaxing, and the jets can be directed to hit the areas that need massage! Yes this is inflatable, but it performs nearly as well as our old portable hot tub for a fraction of the cost. The salt water is easy on my wife’s sensitive skin where the bromine in the old hot tub always bothered her so she barely used it. The delivery was quick. I did have a situation where I needed to call the customer service and I received OUTSTANDING support from them. Knowing what I know now about this tub, I would buy it again without hesitation.
