The best mic for the money hands down
Wireless mic that works everytime! Others have complained about the battery life... Im not seeing it, I use heavy duty name brand AA batteries meant for electronics and I get at least 2 and a half hours of use! The poor reviews about battery life must be coming from those who use knock off remote control batteries. The sound quality is perfect and even though i have a saramonic preamp i dont use it with this mic when combined with a dslr, no hiss when the volume is controlled manually on the camera and the sound level is turned up on the receiver. Perfect professional and solid metal construction, what more would you want, will order another set soon!

Disappointing and unreliable
Very disappointed. I had high hopes. These seem like good quality devices, but they are failing often. Intermittent, high pitch interference coming from the receiver, even when not connected to transmitters, which seems connected to ill fitting batter compartment. Pressing on battery door changes pitch of noise.B channel drops frequently (I tried different transmitters). A channel seems to work okay.I bought an additional transmitter in hopes that it would be better with no luck. The cheaper, Saramonic Dual Wireless VHF Lavalier Microphone Bundle, works so much better, but they are too bulky and only have four frequencies.

Great sound quality--Unbeatable Price
I LOVE THIS THING! The sound is great. Once you read the instructions, it is easy to use. And best of all, it was HUNDREDS of dollars less than a comparable competitor at the same quality level. If you're on a budget, and you need good quality mics, this is the one to get.

Hope next set works..
I want to like these. They seem to be quality built. I am having issues with them out of the box. Default is group A. Couldn't get anything out of it going to digital recorder or camera. The receiver looked like it was receiving a signal from the transmitter, but no sound. I switched over to the B group and it worked. Sounded pretty good except had some hiss and little noise. Messed around changing channel settings and improved a little but not the hiss. Then B group quit working. Amazon instantly refunded my money so I ordered a replacement. I will give them a fair try. If the next ones dont work, i guess I will have to bite the bullet and drop $600 for a set that is known to work. I will keep you posted. If these would work right ot would be a great deal.Ok the replacement set was delivered yesterday. It seems to work just fine. Actually they are very clear and no hiss or humming like the other set. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star is the first set was defective. If this set holds up, it is well worth the money.

Great signal range, not so great mic but definitely a good deal.
Ridiculously great wireless range. Lapel (lavalier) mic has a bit too much bass but you can use other brands of mics. Tons of features. I especially like the option to adjust the sound level on each channel (receiver is two channel (you can run another wireless mic) even though you only get one mic with this kit).

Great product so far used it just about 10 times (about 10 hours of filming )
Pros:works as advertised, up to 100m or even longer if there are no obstructions whatsoever. Maybe even up to 130m.But not even a body of a child should be between the receiver and the transmitter, and the batteries should be new.If there is a human body between the receiver and the transmitter, signal is unstable, and may become fully stable around 70 - 50 m.Cons:If there is more than one human body between the receiver and the transmitter, with maybe mobile phones close to those bodies, or mayy some other electronics (unknown reason why), I have experienced occasional loss of signal and occasional loss of sound even at around 30 m.So, if there are not too many obstructions, it works great. With too more than just one single human body obstruction, you have to come closer to the object you are filming, if you want the 100% continuous sound.Anyway, if sound i very important for you, you should have an extra sound recorder (like mobile phone sound rec. app) as a backup, if you do loose sound for a few seconds ...I am using it to film youtube pranks, and so far it has worked great. Pranks are filmed from the distance of 10 - 70 m.

picking up interference noise from my dslr
I really wanted this to work but unfortunately It get lots of intermittent high pitched interference noise after I turn on my nikon d5300 which is strange because regular microphones work fine with my camera. it's like it's picking up some kind of radio interference from the actual camera, I made sure wifi was off too. It does however sounds fine with an external recorder. But I need it to work with my dslr so ill have to send it back unfortunately

Solid construction, some hissing issues
Pros: Good, solid construction, easy to setup and pair Tx with Rx, good range, sound quality is pretty good, packaging is excellent.Cons: Tends to have some hiss in the background which I am having trouble removing in the recording phase, even messing around with all the settings. Works well with a Canon 5D but has "hiss" issues with a Canon T6i (not sure why this difference), so lots of post-production correction needed. The instruction book doesn't have much troubleshooting in that regard. Also, there is no adapter cable for smartphones. I'm told you need a female 3.5mm TRS to male 3.5mm TRRS adapter for it to work with smartphones. Tip: get some rechargeable batteries.
