I was hesitant to get this glass because of the mixed reviews, but I noticed most of the negative reviews are about the sticker with the Japanese writing on it. Yes, it is just a sticker that comes off. But I didn't buy the glass because it had Japanese writing on it, I bought it because it looked like a cool glass, and it is!

I enjoy the translucent textured glass look and is easy to hold. Only mark against this rocks glass are the three vertical seams left by the mold. Image shows one of the three seams. Glass is thick and sturdy so use it outside for casual drinks. Darker drinks do not show the seams as much.

The glass is a cheap textured, not clear at all like in the photos. The sticker is a piece of masking tape that comes off immediately after pulling on it. This should be $5

Doesn’t really appear to be handmade. Looks like it may have come out of a mold. And like most people are pointing out, the writing is on a sticker that will probably come off the first time that it is washed.

This is not the nicest wine glass to taunt but it is ok. It does have a thick bottom, dimensions seem correct, glass is not clear or smooth its textured. Overall not bad but i would look elsewhere as there are nicer glasses for the same money

I ordered two of these Whiskey glasses as a present for my son for Christmas. The advertisement says "Japanese Style" and that should have been a tip off to me I guess that the glasses aren't actually made in Japan.It's a nice looking glass and it has a good weight to it. The writing on the glass is just a label that you take off before using. They were packaged nicely for shipping.

Faster than I thought. I ordered on Aug 18. It said to expect delivery between Sep 3-Oct 3. But I received today. Looks fabulous. It looks exactly same as I expected. Perfect for my still life photography

Husband likes the look a lot, but feels it’s weird to drink from compared to normal whiskey glasses.

The white strip is a sticker and immediately falls off. Looking closely, it's a lot like masking tape with some lettering on it. As how other reviewers mentioned, it is smaller than a typical low-ball glass.
