Excellent Critical Analysis
My favorite book and probably my sixth reading! If you are a fan of the Sound and the Fury, then this book is a must! Wish I'd had it many readings ago. It is an excellent companion. Lives up to the Norton reputation for excellent critical analysis.

Great author gone off course with experimental creativity.
Lack of continuity and purpose. He attempted to complete this novel numerous times. Apparently, he gave up and threw it at the publisher.

Über den Inhalt sage ich hier nichts mehr. Zusammenfassungen gibt es online zu diesem Buch mit Sicherheit genug.Die Ausgabe von Norton ist wirklich sehr großzügig mit kritischen Aufsätzen, Analysen und historischen Informationen ausgestattet (ca 300 Seiten Zusatzmaterial!), wirkt sehr hochwertig und verwendet angenehmes Papier. Das alles für 14 Euro ist wirklich nicht zu überbieten!
