Pésimo producto, venía sin su empaque, lo que da la impresión de ser un producto apócrifo, venía sucio y en mal estado, con raspaduras y un cable doblado, parece que ya había sido usado en alguna bicicleta, me gustan los productos Shimano, esa marca nunca enviaría sus productos en una bolsa de plástico y hechos bola.

This is a good value complete set. It has everything you need for one complete install (shifter and brake cables and casings, casing end caps, and cable end caps for both left and right sides. The only thing it doesn't have is instructions, you will have to study some youtube videos if you have never done this. I replaced the old grip shifts on my Cannondale H300 and the indexing works perfect for all 21 gears.

Sorry, what's the gag here, again?Plastic in Shimano brand parts of this nature......are entirely asinine, and rediculous. Especially for the money which Shimano demands. Utter lunacy, to be honest.It is far past time for this fine Japanese company to begin moving miles ahead of plastic and AT LEAST to aluminum!! Far past time.Come on now, Shimano...TIGHTEN IT UP.

Been looking for a replacement for my Shimano Alivio ST-MC11 for my vintage Nishiki Backroads MTB.Although the kit came with new brake cables as well, I kept my old brake cables and just installed the new ST-EF500.Initial installation was easy. Fine tuning was a bit tricky. I’m a handy guy but not a lot of experience with bikes. My father-in-law helped and looks like I’m up and running again!

The right side lever does not have an adjusting barrel for the rear derailleur. At first, I thought someone opened the box for parts, but I discovered it's a Shimano design that I don't like and that's why I did not give it 5 stars. Everything else appears good and it arrived quicker than expected.
