I think it’s a great little fountain. I have two problems with it however. 1) Because the solar panel does not store power, the only time it works, is when the sun is out and directly hits the panel. 2) The motor doesn’t last very long. Mine didn’t last a month.

I like the product except for pump issues, expensive ceramic for a pump not to work.

Update: they sent free replacement pump for defective one that lasted 29 days . Thank you! Much happier.

Came broken with chip in ceramic side.Was going to return and they said not to bother. Fixed it and love it for the sound of the water plus children can use it to learn about solar energy and to wash their hands!

Bought this for my Mom for Mother’s Day. She ended up using it as a planter. If you don’t have direct sunlight all day, it won’t work.

It is compact and has a cute design. You need to watch the water level because when the pump slows or while it is stopping (no sunlight) the water seems to trickle over the edge not back into the basin. The wild birds enjoy it and I like having the solar pump because where I put it, there is not an electrical outlet. Some say you have to cut the tubing, but I just lay the pump on its side and it works fine.

Wanted a small fountain that would add some ambiance to our deck and am really impressed. The fountain is heavy glazed ceramic and high quality. I thought the price was a little high until I received the unit. The solar panel also exceeded my expectations. This is not a cheapo panel and should provide many years of use. Cord is around 25ft long and allows for a lot of flexibility. The only knock is the included tubing was too long and I had to trim to get the pump into the corner of the fountain without crimping. No big deal if you have a sharp knife. I highly recommend.

While the fountain is pretty to look at the fountain function is pitiful. Even when placed in the bright sunlight only a trickle of water comes out of the fountain. Part of the problem is the way the fountain is designed because to attach the pump to the fountain the line has to be bent which slows the water down. Also, the solar panel does not provide a strong enough power supply for the pump to do it's job. If you cast any sort of shadow in front of the solar panel it stops working. I would not purchase again.
