Finally! A worthy winter work glove!
To start off, I work for FedEx Freight on the dock. It's not heated so during the winter the temperature outside is basically what it is inside on the dock. For years I've had a hard time finding a good winter work glove because most insulated gloves are too bulky and lack dexterity. These new gloves by Mechanix Wear not only feature their M-Pact armor but also 3M insulation without losing dexterity. What do I mean by this? It means I can wear these gloves to keep my hands warm, protected but I can still use the controls of my forklift, citadel computers, scale computer and handheld devices without having to take my gloves off. I'm able to still secure freight using straps, rope, blowers and other freight securing equipment without sacrificing dexterity. Past winter gloves I've used I've had a hard time using computers, buttons, even using a pen and separating paperwork without taking my gloves off. That winter we had two years ago where temps reached -40 degrees here in the Midwest (yeah, I was at work when that was going on).Temperatures lately here in the Midwest have been around 20 degrees or less at night and since I've been using these gloves my hands have stayed warm. Will they keep my hands warm during much colder conditions? I will soon find out!Construction is great and material is quality. Fit is a bit off. I normally wear a Large in Mechanix Wear M-Pact gloves but these new ColdWork M-Pact gloves fit more like the leather Driver 360 gloves. So instead of going with a Large like I normally do, I went with a Medium and they fit perfectly. So you may want to go a size down.UPDATE: February 7 2021Shortly after I started using these gloves I decided to try and use the Mechanix Wear disposable black Nitrile gloves with the ColdWork M-Pact. I wear the Nitriles under the ColdWork gloves and believe it or not, it seems to help keep my hands warmer.Again, I work for FedEx Freight on an unheated dock here in the Midwest. Temps for the past couple of weeks have ranged from 15 to -15 degrees so I've been putting the ColdWork's to the test. Quality and construction of these gloves is holding up well. I have two pairs that I rotate day by day and I wash both Friday nights after work.Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and I can honestly say that these gloves are worth it! So if you work in extreme cold conditions and need to keep your hands protected and warm I suggest giving these gloves a shot!

Keeps Warm and Helps You Work
I recommend these gloves. I work out with weights outside and early in the morning. I live in the Pacific Northwest in the US, so the fall and winter mornings for me can range between 15°F-40°F. In this temperature range, my hands remain comfortable, but I'd argue that at about 20°F and below, the gloves don't provide so much warmth anymore.I don't want that to shy anyone away however, as these gloves are not designed for outdoors manual labor as much as they are probably meant for a semi-indoors garage/workshop. If you're looking for winter-time manual labor gloves, I'd honestly look elsewhere. I don't trust these to keep my hands warm when wet as well. Again, I'm not going to cut down the gloves because of that.If you're working in a dry shop during Winter and want to provide warmth and protection for your hands, or if you are doing light labor in a mildly-cold and dry environment ➡ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐If you're chopping wood outside and you live in upstate Michigan and it's mid-January in the morning on a wet/snowy day ➡ ⭐⭐

Great gloves.
These gloves are great. Better than I ever expected them to be. Even the smart touch capability is fantastic and far surpassed my expectations. Could use some better grip on the palm and fingers and more color scheme choices. I feel like the sizing maybe a tad bigger than you would expect. from my experience, a lot of times when these companies tell you that you should go a size down from what your measurements are for a snug fit generally get a glove that’s too small, but when they say to go down a size for a snug fit with these clothes, they mean it I got a medium thinking that that was gonna be pretty snug with the cold weather I got a medium thinking that that was gonna be pretty snug with the cold weather added material material added but I was wrong still fit pretty nice though just not quite as snug as I would like them so I’m going to order another pair and get my wife a pair as well

They work
They do keep my hands warm, but working with them in 10 below weather my fingers got cold after about 10 minutes. Which is about as long as I need to be outside for my job, and I am handling steel, which probably doesn't help, but my hands themselves never got cold. They are a bit bulky, but still function well. Only word of caution is they run a little big. I got mediums, and they fit me more like larges tend to.

These are amazing!
My husband has very large hands. It's so difficult to get gloves that fit him, but these actually have a size large enough to fit him. He works on a dock so it can get extremely cold. He needs gloves that are warm and that still allow him to use his computer and handle freight. These do all of that. They're perfect!

Very warm. Go up a size from your regular mechanics
I love the entire impact series of mechanics gloves. They provide adequate protection and last long enough that I don't feel ripped off when they finally wear out. I usually get six months or so out of the standard impact gloves, and because i'm not wearing these during Intense work like I am my impacts I expect to get a few winters out of these.Heads up: I learned my lesson last time I bought these a few years ago and went up a size for the insulated version and was right on. Standard mechanics Impact gloves I'm an XL ; these I went XXLThese are even good enough to take hunting / atv / winter jobs... Just your run of the mill do all gloves.

Less expensive alternatives
Warm, decent dexterity and lasts just as long as the more high end freezer gloves.

Being warm in WINTER with Mechanix Wear
The media could not be loaded. Shipping was quicker than stated ,product unwrapping was exactly as described. Im an avid wearer of Mechanix Wear. As for the Winter Mechanix Wear definitely worth the buy. There's no loose feeling inside the glove. Nice and snug and you can definitely feel the warmth staying where it needs to. Really like padding on palm and the outterlayer of protection, being a machine operator for snow removal in the winter months, I'd recommend these gloves for sure.
