This grow light is helping me keep my plants healthy under otherwise low light conditions, and at an affordable price. I'm happy with it, but be aware that this is NOT a super powerful plant light. You are going to need this fairly close to the plant, and shining for upwards of 18 hours a day, depending upon light requirements for your plant. If you only need a small area of coverage, or are willing to use more than one bulb, these are a nice, non-industrial-looking option at a good price.It IS very, VERY bright to the eyes, so ideally you want this bulb in a fixture that it won't protrude from. After buying and returning a Torchstar architect-style lamp (too-small, cheap garbage), I decided to see what IKEA had on offer. The IKEA Tertial (around $25 with shipping and taxes, supports 13 watt LED bulb max) is PERFECT for these 12 watt grow bulbs; the shade is longer than the bulb extends, directing light where you aim the lamp, instead of indiscriminately blinding everyone in the room.I was happy enough with my first Briignite/Tertial combo that I bought a second!

This is a great grow light, i bought it when i lived in an apartment with little natural light and had it on almost all day every day for over 2 years. It started failing /flickering recently but thats a good run for a light! It did last less than the advertised 50000 hours but i am still impressed. my plants loved it

I just moved into a new house that I am realizing is really dark. Many of my house plants are suffering or just not growing now. I can not afford to buy the actual lamps to put inches above my plants so I bought a couple of these bulbs and put in my ceiling can lights. Despite the fact that this is not optimal it is helping. I have already seem some of my plants perk up. The light is not as bright as anticipated but the price is decent. I have not received an electricity bill to see what the cost is for having some of my over head lights on hours a day but will do an update if it is noticable.

I got these light bulbs to offset the lack of light at my office window because I have a very large oak tree in the front yard that blocks a lot of the natural light. They seem to be a noticeable difference as far as brightness but not too bright. It overwhelms the room. They worked with the current can lights that I have so they seem to be doing good and with no issues. I can't say that they're great because I didn't wake up to a jungle in my office, ah shucks... But maybe by next week I'll have a jungle. Here's to hoping.

I randomly ordered this brand when I first started ordering grow lights from Amazon and this specific light has never failed me. Honestly it has worked better than my sansi bulbs so I kept buying them and will probably order 3 or 4 more. It's nice and warm not that harsh white light and I love that the bulb looks like a regular light in terms of ambiance. I use one in a floor lamp and one in a hanging pendant light that I also purchased off amazon.

I really liked this lightbulb because of its tone. It was warm, where others I’ve had were on the cool side. To my surprise though, it went out the other day. I felt like I hadn’t had it all that long and when I looked it up on Amazon I saw that I last purchased it last year in January. It literally lasted one year and one year only. Idk, that seems like a short life span to me. I’m debating whether to purchase again or try a new bulb.
