Q: do these fit true to size?

No. They run small, in my experience. I wear a size 9.5 American in dress shoes and need a size 10.5 in this current line of Reebok’s. Also be sure you know which model you are getting. The non-leather MEMT version is poorly made and uncomfortable, but approximately the same price and general appearance. Stick with the Club C85 leather stitched version which is more like the original shoe of years ago.

Marking says "Classic" with flat sole.

Q: Are they made of real or synthetic leather?

I am not 100% sure, but as far as I can tell they are made of real leather. I have had several pairs and they last for a very long time.
