Amazing difference, would buy again (and might for our other vehicle)
Installed this in a 2007 Camry LE (speakers, but not JBL system) along with the proper wiring harness, a universal steering wheel control, and a backup camera.I first found some videos and then made sure I had the right tools and crimps and such. I decided to crimp instead of soldering and using shrink tube.Installation went on without a hitch, even wiring up the rear view camera.Outcome:Sound quality: An immediate and noticeable difference [for the better] in the sound quality of the OEM speakers. I was really surprised that just changing the radio made such a difference. The tweeters on the dash (by the windshield) were brighter, and the low end kick was significantly greater. I had planned on installing a woofer, but after the last couple weeks I find there's just enough that it's not needed.Call sound quality: My wife said that it doesn't sound that good on her end (on the phone) using the provided remote mic that I installed above the rear view mirror. I'll have to play with it more...maybe move the mic somewhere else. But others haven't complained. We'll see.Dash Controls: In hindsight, I may have been able to do the dash controls without the universal box. You may want to do some research or (if you have time and patience) try it without the universal box first. It may save you ~$50. But, in the end, it works. All there is, though, is volume, channel changing, and input changing.Touch screen: Pretty responsive. The only issue is seeing it if the sun happens to shine directly on it. And that does happen occasionally with a mid-sized car like the Camry.Bluetooth: Just fine. Well, the only thing that's a little bit of a hassle is changing between phones. It's pretty easy on our stock 2014 Toyota. But for this radio it takes some doing. You have to unpair the phone that's connected (or turn off that phone's bluetooth) and then connect the one you want. Even then it was a little finicky. We'll have to play with it more to figure out the best procedure. Oh, audio quality through Bluetooth is OK, but like any other some times it's either bass heavy or high-end heavy and has some distortion. But its no worse than the 2014 Toyota with stock radio.Radio reception: Really good. As good as any other radio I have. and there's a lot of presets. 3 layers of FM, each with 6 presets. 2 layers for AM, each with 6 presets.USB interface: We haven't tried hooking it up to a MP3 player or memory stick yet. But I suspect it will work just fine and give better audio quality than the bluetooth connection. We also haven't yet tried out Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. But those will likely work as promised and as well as they work on any other device.Camera: It works and the video is clear. But in hindsight I'd maybe do 2 things.1) Find one that doesn't look down so much. Pay attention to the reviews. Some of them really have weird views.2) Have the camera powered at all times, even when not in reverse (or have the ability to turn it on when not in reverse). This would require running a power wire along with the video wire. I never thought I'd use it, but during the first week of installation I had an occasion to do just that. And this radio allows you to look through the camera. But if you wire it 'normally' using power from the revers lights, then it doesn't have power and won't work if you push the button.Lastly, if you know what you're doing, you could wire up a second camera and use some switches to control which are powered. A 3-way rocker switch would do it. Some radios can handle multiple cameras. Not this one unless you get inventive.

Simple, Reliable and FAST...
I love this deck. I just installed my 3rd one in my Dad's subaru. Easy to use. Carplay. Sounds fantastic. And - FAST. Boots instantly and you do not have to accept the "Rules" they self-clear every bootup. Brilliant. No complaints. if you need a Carplay deck - without a DVD or CD Player (What are those?) this is your deck!

Great product, highly reflective screen.
Product worked great for my dad's 2001 F250. Only complaint is that the screen itself is quite reflective and the glare that happens as a result can make the screen hard to see in certain situations.

Unit was DOA!
After going through the hassle of installing the unit in my motorhome, it would not turn on. I contacted Sony who said the unit was defective and they would replace it - BUT, they would not send a replacement out until they received my return unit, then said it would take 7 to 14 days to ship the replacement! Since I am on the road, this is crazy. I returned it to Amazon (no problem) and ordered a different brand that will arrive in 2 days! I used to think Sony was a good brand - I will avoid their products in future!

Great Upgrade for Older Vehicles
I upgraded the old CD player head unit in my 2004 Jeep Wrangler with this- if you're in the same boat, make sure to also get an aftermarket double din dashboard surround and have a dremel handy in case you need to cut off any bits of plastic in the stock radio cavity (mine fit without cutting, but I think it varies between the model years and trim levels). This was an incredible upgrade, and it makes my Jeep feel 15 years newer. The electronics inside must be pretty good, since my sound quality drastically improved after installing it, even when it's just an FM radio signal. The USB port works well, but I ended up adding an aftermarket wireless adapter since my phone's charging port has become less reliable over the years. It looks like it came from the factory with this head unit already installed, and the installation is very easy as long as you're comfortable with turning a screwdriver to unscrew bolts you can't see. My stock head unit had an anti-theft bracket attached which I just threw away because it's annoying, only fits the stock Mopar head unit, and it wouldn't stop anyone from stealing my head unit anyway if they were already behind my dash unscrewing the regaining bolts (the dremel I mentioned earlier is handy for cutting out pointless anti-theft features). This is a great value for money and makes both shoet drives and long roadtrips much more enjoyable since you can see the road and your directions at the same time.In summary:1. This head unit looks and sounds great2. Both wired and Bluetooth connections work well, although if you want wireless Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, you'll need an adapter3. It's easy to install and easily fits in double din cavities4. This head unit has held up for two years without any signs of wear and I don't see it failing anytime soon5. All of the important functions except for pause/play are accessible via physical buttons - I'd prefer a volume dial, but the volume buttons work fine and are much more convenient than the trendy touchscreen-only controls that many cars now haveGet this head unit if you're considering it, I've included a photo of it in my Jeep with the aftermarket dashboard surround I mentioned.Pro tip: Just route the parking brake wire to some exposed metal on your car's body behind the head unit for a ground connection to enable you to use all of the controls without engaging the handbrake.
