Good solid project boxes.

I bought these boxes because of the waterproof mounting ears features. I used one as a junction box to hold all the wires for a backup camera install in my truck. They are easy to drill, and I love the stainless steel screws. I secured the box with wire ties through the mounting ears to a frame member below the truck body. I ran the wires through a waterproof wire gland into the box. The boxes have a metal threaded screw insert so no problem getting the screws tight without messing up plastic boss inserts. I'll save the second box for a future project. Very well satisfied with these boxes.

The boxes appear to be sturdy, however, I have not tried to drill or cut them to fit my project. Biggest complaint is that the inside dimensions are not quite big enough to fit a 70mmx90mm breadboard. The inside dimension is reduced to 89mm on the longest side due to corner projections. Will need to either modify the corners with a dremel or cut down my breadboard. Also, the corner mounts do not line up with the corner mounting holes on the 70mmx90mm breadboard. So I give these boxes a rousing MEH!

Love the product. Description says the quantity is 2. I've ordered this product the first time and love "THEM". The second time I got only "ONE" box. Sent it back. Ordered again and got 2 but were the wrong size. Too late , I already drilled holes in one before I discovered the problem. Ordered again and got only "ONE" box. Sent it back and ordered again. Only got "ONE". What do I do now?

A good quality box for my project. Fairly thick, and it doesn't distort under pressure at all. There's a ribbon of gasket material to install and trim within the lid, but that's the only thing to do before you start slashing it up to make it all work.
