Great cornstarch substitute!
Sensitive to corn in this house, plus trying to stay away from anything GMO, this fits the bill for thickening sauces. Don't need very much at all, and has practically no flavor, and the consistency is similar with a flour or cornstarch slurry when added to the pan. Will continue to buy this. Bonus: doesn't seem to affect my blood sugar, so I consider that a win!

great for kuzumochi, authentic, but packaging needs work
This Farmer Queen kudzu starch is from Korea. It's more expensive than arrowroot and other starches, but that partly indicates that it's the real deal. It's important for making authentic, traditional kuzumochi, a cool summery Japanese dessert treat topped with kinako (roasted soy bean flour). The packaging could use some work, though. There was an outer plastic bag but the starch was still leaking from it and got a fine layer of kudzu starch all over the other items in the same box. However, it's much the same for wheat flour that's packaging in paper bags (seemingly good for the environment, but gets all over grocery store shelves), and it doesn't reflect the quality of the product, but I thought it was worth mentioning in case the company is moved to change it.

The desert I saw in Japanese market
I like it has explanation about the california warning. I didn't know I can make the traditional Japanese dessert that I saw in Japanese market. My favorite flavor is add some Matcha powder in it. It is so quick and easy.

Premium kudzu kuzu starch
I received Farmer Queen kudzu kuzu starch in pristine condition. It came with an outer plastic bag. The inner bag containing the starch is resealable. The starch is of premium quality. I used it to make traditional kudzumochi topped with kinako (roasted soy flour) and kuromitsu (a dark brown sugar syrup).

Best Value for Price
I have been making peanut tofu and kudzu starch is critical for the right texture. It can be pricey so this is the best deal I’ve found.
