The cable was packaged very nicely and works great!
Long story short, I needed a USB to AUX UART TTL serial cable to debug my Pinebook Pro (an arm-based laptop). I was a little skeptical of buying a product with no reviews, but with free returns, I figured I should at least give it a try. It came a day early, and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the packaging-a small, beautifully decorated box. Inside was the cable, a brief guide to downloading drivers for the cable in Windows, and a mini CD with the drivers, as well as a quality control pass card. I did not need the drivers, however, as when I plugged the cable into my Ubuntu-based system it showed right up in lsusb and worked without any special drivers. The instructions say that this cable can transmit up to 3Mbps. The cable is great and I will definitely recommend anybody in the serial adapter market buy from DSD Tech! I only wish that this cable was a little cheaper, as I feel like 12.99 is slightly overpriced.

Exactly what I needed
This isn't a product the average consumer willever need, but it's exactly what I needed. I use this for displaying serial output from an embedded system running Linux. This cable works great! So much easier than using a 5v serial cable paired with a 5v to 3.3v logic level converter.
