So useful, for drinking milk and making lactose free cheese. See review for price calculations.
A really great product that's allowed me to put dairy back in my diet. I've been using it for milk and cream, and using the treated milk to make ricotta cheese and mozzarella! My usual symptoms (constant bloating etc) have gone away completely. Ricotta is ridiculously easy so if you're missing cheeses it's a great option. (You can't use shop bought lacto-free milk for cheese as it's been processed too much). It's so convenient I'd keep it in even if it didn't save any money, but it's been saving me a fortune so I've included cost details below. Be aware it does make milk and cream taste sweeter, because it converts the lactose into a sugar we're more sensitive to the taste of. It's not sweet enough to be a problem for me - even in savoury sauces and soups it's worked out fine, though you may find yourself using a little more salt/pepper/spice/vinegar than usual to balance it out.I get 245 drops from a bottle - enough for about 41 litres of milk at the standard 3 drops per 500ml, which has been fine for me (a few extra drops when using it in cream). That reduces the lactose level by a out 70% after a day and it keeps dropping. If you're using more these calculations won't be right. At about £9 per bottle, it costs about 22.5p per litre of milk to use this. Right now, if you buy milk in 4 pint bottles, it costs 68p per litre, so this brings it up to 80p per litre. Supermarket own brand lactose free milk is currently about £1.35 per litre (about £1.20 from Aldi and Lidl), and Arlo is £2 per litre, so it's a massive saving. If you don't go through milk quickly enough to buy 4 pints at a time, it still works with long life filtered milk - own brand is about 95p per litre. If you only buy smaller quantities of milk it won't really save you much money - right now 2 pint bottles of milk cost about £1.10 per litre, so plus the cost of milk drops it's about the same price as buying own brand lactose-free. I usually buy 4 pints, and any that isn't drunk in time I turn into ricotta.***I paid £9 per bottle for a 3 pack, if you buy one bottle for £12 it adds 29p per litre, still a saving as long as you're buying 4 pints at a time***

Does its job well
Order this due to growing lactose intolerance and hatred for Oat milk.Does what it says; make sure to leave it in the milk as soon as you buy it.Initially it was a minor incovenience to plan ahead for the milk, but just make sure you leave the drops in for at least 12 hours in the fridge and it works really well, have had no stomach issues due to intolerance anymore. It really does work as well, I compared the taste of the lactose free milk without the lactase and it tasted less sweet, so the lactase is definitely doing its job. Good buy, would recommend to anyone that likes the taste of milk too much to switch to plant based alternatives.

Brilliant
Would highly recommend to all you lactose intolerant/avoiding dairy people out there.Buying the lactose free milk becomes very expensive, especially as I use a lot of it.These drops might seem expensive, but firstly buying 3 instead of one at a time is cheaper. Secondly, if you buy ordinary milk and add these drops to convert into lactose free, it works out cheaper than buying the branded lactose free versions.I buy the supermarkets own brand milk in litre cartons, have one on the go and another prepped and ready in the fridge. You do have to let it stand for 24hrs to make sure it's ready, although I did read a review or two that disputes that, but you can judge for yourselves. It says in the instructions that you have to do a little trial and error as to how many drops you will need per litre (everyone's tolerance of lactose is different) but it's easy to do.So in summary, even though it seems a lot of money, if you do the math, it works out cheaper, you have control over how much lactose is eliminated from the milk, and Bonus...you can add it to deserts etc so you don't have to buy expensive lactose free!

excellent value and makes drinking milk palatable
Excellent value. Makes drinking ordinary milk palatable and wonderful savings on the few lactose free cartons that seem to be available now. Doing our own trials on how far a bottle lasts using the recommended drops per 500ml. So far, if on av 2x1ltr cartons = £3 and ordinary milk 2ltr = £2 then we have bought and added the drops to 24lrt so saving £12 and there is still part bottle to use, so hoping to save around the £18 which equates to the price of the 3 bottles and if this is repeated on each bottle the savings will be worth the mixing and the taste of ordinary milk will be worth the change. Recommended.

Does the job
It's a bit pricey but it does the job. I put 3 drops a pint.

Brilliant if you are lactose intolerant.
I buy these due to myself and my partner being lactose intolerant and it works. A definite cost saver in today's economy.I started with a monthly subscription, but I didn't notice at first that the company were putting the price up without informing me of the change. When I noticed that the subscription had doubled in price I started looking around and found this company to be cost effective with 3 bottles for £25 rather then the subscription which had gone up to £16 per bottle!! Keep an eye on your subscriptions!!

Easy to use. Long lasting. Can be used to make the milk sweeter with more drops depending on taste buds.
