Pack Ebon Red: Volume 1 (The Seven Mates of Zara Wolf) Paperback – 11 July 2017

As always C.M Stunich, has written yet again a mind blowing book, granted I’ve mostly read her newest books and this series is old but I just can’t get enough of her books, their amazing and so perfectly written and very gripping they just suck you in and big let you go lol, I love it. A must must read for sure, now on to book 2 yay.

I have definitely become a little addicted to C.M. Stunich’s work, maybe more than a little, I absolutely love her writing style and to be honest when I just want to sink into a book and forget about everything around me for a few hours she is fast becoming my go to. Pack Ebon Red is a new release part reverse-harem part paranormal romance.Now I’m still fairly new to Stunich’s work and have not yet worked through most of the back catalogue so I can’t say if she has written anything like this before. The reverse-harem elements were much more tame and held back than they were in the Rock-Hard Beautiful Books where the scenes were thick, fast and graphic (and no I am not complaining). This story was much more focused on the paranormal storyline (and again I am not complaining).Zara is to become the Alpha of every werewolf pack in North America. As part of that responsibility she has to complete a ritual which includes solving a quest of sorts and becoming mated to a potential alpha male from each pack. Throw in the mix a last minute entry from her own pack, the man she is in love with and things get really interesting, especially as the mating ritual seems to make her extremely attracted to all seven men/wolves.The quest they have is to find out why wolves keep going missing and it sends them in the path of vampires, witches, and the fae. It’s so well written with some graphic and bloody scenes, just how I like it! The mystery and plot thickens at every turn and it becomes hard to know who to trust.This is the first in a series so of course the ending doesn’t leave too many questions answered, I’ve already got book two on pre-order ready to delve in and find out what happens to this mini-pack and if they get the answers they are hunting for.

I adored this book ,hardly got time to review as I wanted to read the next in the series . Honestly just my kinda book bit raunchy ,great werewolf story,hot men and sprinkles of face vampires and witches too . Why have I never heard of you and your 56 books girl , I’m now a huge fan thanks for a great no fantastic book xx

As with all CM's books she books you right in and leaves you begging for more. Is out this book off for a while as werewolves aren't my thing but I should've known better!!Diving head first into book 2 now

Interesting start to a shifter series that starts out a little more YAI like the RH element and the overarching storyline of the missing wolves. The shocking revelations I didn’t really find that shocking but that’s ok it was interesting learning them and I liked all the wolf boys. I did not like her friend who was whiny and clingy and VERY teen drama.It all felt very teen drama at the start and I didn’t find the FMC that strong until about halfway through the book. A few typos and editing issues but only a few.Some of the sex scenes weren’t really for me but that’s cool. the pace and feel definitely picked up from the start of the ritual so im definitely interested to see where it goes

I absolutely loved this! This supernatural world has a rich, unique mythology with an intriguing mystery. Can't wait for the sequel!

So, I found this book a little difficult to get into at first, I just found the start a tad confusing (it could just be me though, so don't be put off). It just didn't sink in & grip me right away. However, once the story started to unfold and the plot begin to take shape, the details just sort of clicked in one of those 🤔..💡.."Aha! I get it now!" 😲 moments.So after my "Aha!" moment 😁, I couldn't put it down.So, why only 4stars?...- The slower plot at the beginning.- Character's are not fleshed out enough yet. I'm guessing that will be a big part out the next book though.All in all, it looks as though this is a book to set the scene, pave the way for the real plot development to start in book 2.Well worth reading.Thanks

This book has reminded me of my love for all thongs C. M stunich. I can't wait to read more.
