Great cookery book for all those campers out there.

Interesting recipes.
Bought as a present for a Guiding friend and she was very pleased with it. Has tried out some of the recipes successfully at camp.

package wasnt stuck down and it was left by the gate when front door was open i donot have a smart phone but both books turned up thank you my son will love them

Should be called the campfire cookbook!
Too many of the recipes require skillets, Dutch ovens and coals to cook on. If you predominantly cook on a stove or even a Trangia this is not the book for you. If you camp where you can’t have fires or you can’t carry heavy cast iron in, this isn’t not the book for you. Yes there are a few recipes designed for a gas stove, but not enough to warrant the price - thankfully I paid very little for a 2nd hand one. This book should have been called “The Campfire Cookbook”.
