Uber Expensive - Works Uber Well - Uber Worth It !
When I was a little kid, my mom would let me "hull" strawberries with a VERY "fundamental", stamped out and folded, strawberry huller. It was super fun ... and fit my little fingers. Probably cost 15 cents. Probably still works. Fast forward 80 years. This huller is bigger (fits my arthritic fingers), extremely well made (OXO ... I have NEVER had an OXO product that wasn't excellent and, as expected, this one JUST PLAIN WORKS !! I've hulled almost 2 gallons of strawberries that I now have frozen ... and more are on the way. I actually look forward to using this darn thing. Makes me smile ;-)

Works well on strawberries.
I have used this on strawberries and it works great! I haven’t tried it on tomatoes yet. It was certainly safer than using a small knife. I wouldn’t say it’s heavy duty but it seems substantial enough to last for awhile.

Only used twice so far but impressed
Game changer for strawberries as I hated the waste with cutting off the tops, BUT........you have to be careful or you end of wasting even more fruit. This is probably common sense for most people, but sometimes I'm slow on the uptake----you do not need to push this in all the way to use it. It takes a few practice berries to get it right, but only push it in as far as you need to to get the stem, twist and pull it out. Also, I chose to pull the leaves off my berries first because I didn't want the mess of half cut leaves sticking to the strawberries. It probably actually made it take longer than using a knife, but this is easier and safer. It works even better on tomatoes! I'll guess we'll see how it lasts as I see some reviews stating it wore out or broke quickly.

Great tool
got this for husband who uses it every morning. It works great without cutting away half the fruit. I decided to try it on a tomato and it works the same. Really helpful tool, time saving, removes the stem easily and you don’t waste half the fruit or vegetable.

Great Kitchen for Strawberries
It's a good product that works well for removing the strawberries' hull (center stem).

NICE AND SHARP!
Finally a SHARP tool. I've been through many of these hullers and have replaced them every time they break. I am hoping this one holds up, but it works better than anything else I've ever bought. It doesn't macerate your strawberries, clean extractions. Highly recommended.
