There are various water based glues you will need to use to apply the rubber to your blade. You can look up any of top name brands, i.e. Joola or Butterfly. They are a bit over priced, but do a very good job. Different people will tell you to apply different amounts of glue to the rubber before adhering to the blade. I typically use two layers on the rubber and 1 thin layer of glue on the blade.

Q: does it have a dead/rotten fish smell ?

Yep. And it will smell your table tennis bag up nicely for a week or two before it goes away depending on how much you play. It helps if you use an adhesive to cover it after you play to tone it down.

Just the rubber. You have to buy the glue separately.
