Used to cut off exhaust manifold studs to replace catalytic converters. Not enough room for any cutting tool I could find. Although mantle was missing in package, I was able to improvise. Used 1 wheel removing studs, worked great took about 20 minutes. It worked so good I used to cut of complete exhaust system from manifolds, to rear, on 98 f150 using 3 cutting wheels. Also these trucks had stainless exhaust.

After years of buying Foredom's brand of cut off wheels I tried this one to see if it was better and is it ever!! The price is not too much more but the cutting ability is as good or better but the real advantage is that these outlast the others by 4-5 times! I highly recommend these cut off wheels for small metal cutting projects and we will buy no other from now on. Excellent product!!

Slow cutting, thick kerf, turns to powder in one cut. The 4 pack from Northern tool last forever compared to these cutter wheels.

These discs were a little thicker than I was expecting but they sure are tough. Hands down better than the last junk I bought. Sure, they were a few bucks more but they will last 10 times longer. Would absolutely recommend these to anyone.

Make sure you use both included washers on either side of the disc , little scary at first cause i only used one .... wobbled around and snapped the first disc pretty quick .... but once I corrected my mistake and got comfortable with short slow cuts , these things cuts thru hardened steel car timing chains (re-purposing for biker wallet chains ) like a hot knife thru butter. 6 cuts and still have 1/4 of disc left compared to what took 3 dremel discs to make 1 cut. Nothing against dremel been using them for years, but their discs just arn't made for serious cutting that I need.... I would definitely compare the strength of these to bigger "whizzer" tool disc run buy a shop air compressor.... Defintly up to the task !!! Came back to buy more !
