Fine tuning, clean strokes. Must have for realistic portraiture!
First time use was on a black and white portrait in m graham oils. Nice spring to the brushes and I was able to get the fine tuning I desired. Very good synthetic brushes for getting into tight spots. Love the wide width handles, too. Feels a lot like graphite drawing, which is my first love. Will buy again when I wear these out!

Good brushes
Good brushes for the price. I like the wider handles and tapered tips on these. Perfect for acrylic painting.

UPDATE, I LOVE THESE!
UPDATE:The first time I used these I wasn't completely prepared, my skills were not enough, and It's better to admit I Was Wrong, than let others have the wrong idea of this item... If you use the right paper, and train your hand a little, you'll obtain some extraordinary results, getting a level of detail you have never imagine before. I was wrong, really wrong. And Yes, you'll get to control it perfectly, as the handles are the best in this kind of brushes. Sorry for my original review... That proves a bad experience of someone, is not always the real experience you can obtain with a particular tool. I hope this helps!Original (sorry):The tips are a little too long for a round brush. I know that is part of the product description, but, I thought the hairs would have been more springy, and tough... they are SO SOFT, and SO WEAK, that not only can't handle too much color (paint) but they bend too easy, and they are too difficult to control... Something that I think it's the opposite to the goal of the Ultra-Mini series... I don't recomend these brushes, if you think you'll have more control on lettering or details... Believe me, you will not.

Essential for fine details
I have wasted a lot of money on lower quality brushes, these brushes are worth the $$. To get the best results, you need good tools for the job. These are the best tools for the job.

I AM A VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER! These brushes are worthless! SAVE YOUR $$$$!
DO NOT WAIST YOUR $MONEY$!!!I have used Wal Mart generic brushes that don’t fray like this brush. I have used it may 12 times. Prior to each use I have to boil water and dip the brush in just to get bristles to semi go back together. Note I have only attempted to use the brush for fine detail and that is absolutely impossible with these brushes. VERY VERY DISSATISFIED!

I just purchased two sets, one for me and one for my daughter. They are very sturdy. I had no trouble getting the cards in and out of them. You can't put two cards in one though as you would probably make it ineffective. I love the designs. I was pretty much able to match the card with one of the colorful designs making it easy to find them. My cards feel much more secure. Good luck to this Made in America company.
