The tip is snagging
It works, but the measuring tape is catching in the little riveted fastener. This makes it somehow tricky to measure. I have ordered the string one now. Pricey ( you can get a luxury measure tape from the DIY shop )

Okay but end can stick (not rotate freely) at times which can be annoying and delay measuring.
