I bought these for work, but after 5 days of wearing them ONLY In My Home, the shoe-lace-loop broke!! I've worn my REAL Merrell's for a year straight in Baghdad, Iraq as a private contractor and they are still in perfect condition, I just wanted a new pair and made the Mistake of buying THESE FAKE Merrell's! Spend your money on legitimate merrell's, Don't Buy these on Amazon and get burned like I did.

The shoes don't fit so it costs me $6 to ship it back? Cleverly concealed. I'll never buy from third party vendors again. Just wanted to add it cost another $6 to buy a box to ship it in....such a deal.

My wife and I were gearing up for a trip to Kentucky's Red River Gorge and we were both in need of decent hiking shoes. After much research, I came upon these (on almost every top 10 list). I was pleasantly surprised when we tried them on and then tried them out on several miles of trails. I, unfortunately, have plantar fasciitis on both feet and was worried that the shoes and hike would make it worse. They did not.The arch support was awesome as well as the build quality and traction. These things grip! For most avid trailblazers, Merrell is already a trusted brand, this I know. But for most of us novice hikers, it is fairly unknown, and hear me out, get this if you are looking to start a healthy lifestyle that includes hiking and walking. You will not be disappointed!Side note - My right foot is slightly wider than my left, so there is some tightness in that foot. What I am saying here is that if you tend to lean towards a wide, then go for it. These were made to have a firm fit on your foot. Just sayin'

This has got to be my 5th or 6th pair of Merrells and I could not be more pleased. It is hard to believe that a simple shoe can make such a huge difference. This new design offers more support and comfort than ever before with the added bonus of being a few ounces lighter! If you are on the fence, just buy them...you can thank me later!
