OUTSTANDING!
Outstanding! This is a fantastic book and a must have for any in the Sponsorship or Marketing Business arena. While it says it's directed at Motorsports, the basics lessons in this book apply to all sports teams. It's very comprehensive, and very detailed.Alex takes readers through the differences in Advertising, Marketing, and Branding, he explains in detail how to value a team, ROI, Decks, Proposals and Proof of Performance, and much much, more.My maim reason for writing this review is for all the younger audience out there getting into racing. Please buy this book, ask your folks to get it for a birthday or Christmas present, whatever you have to, and learn how to do sponsorship the correct way. This is the best book I have come across so far and it's really good. I've spent over $50 bucks on a sports marketing recently and it was so shallow, it covered many topics, but nothing in detail. This book not only gives you granular detail, you even get insight from Race team's Commercial Director's, Racers, and more importantly, Sponsors like Monster Energy, Lucas Oil, and others.Definitely, definitely, worth the money, highly recommended.

GREAT BUY!
First I had the great pleasure of meeting this author at a convention. He was a wealth of knowledge and very helpful. As a new racer I picked up his book to continue learning from him. The first day I got this book I read 5 chapters without a thought of putting it down.If you're interested in auto racing, marketing, or expanding your knowledge on building professional relationships I highly recommend this book.

A MUST READ
Alex Striler breaks down how to find sponsorship in Motorsports. This is a very easy read. He worked for the companies that gave sponsorships and he explains to you and breaks down exactly what you should do for a potential sponsor and how to approach them. Everything I thought I knew, he explains how that was the old way and doesn’t really work anymore. If you are looking to learn how to obtain sponsorship, this is a must read!

This book is more useful than any tool in the tool box
A close friend recommended this book to me because he knows how much effort I have been putting in to building a marketable race program. This book not only has opened my eyes to how much more I can do to attract sponsors but why my previous attempts have been failures. I'll be honest, I had no clue how to value my race program or myself.I am truly surprised with how much information is given in this book, information that seems like it would be an industry secret. As someone who went to college for business, I was much further away than I realized to understanding Motorsports sponsorship. Many things mentioned in the book are things I knew existed but I didn't know why.I now realize how many missed opportunities I have had and how many new opportunities to improve my racing career will be utilized. Since reading this book, I have completely rethought my marketing approach and what tools I plan on taking advantage of. So many independently owned teams in the monster truck racing industry are missing out. If you are anyone in the Motorsports industry, you NEED this book!

Uplevel your racing program
Fantastic book by a pioneer in motorsports marketing that should be used as the foundation of your racing program. This is truly a goldmine of information for hobbyists to professionals. I've been in marketing for 15 years and a racing fan since I was little. This is the first I've seen the two come together in a great read that will have you feeling enabled that you can uplevel your efforts. Alex and his network of practitioners, drivers, teams, and sponsors delivered a book that's more of a Chilton or Haynes DIY manual to fuel your strategy for securing sponsors than just a knowledge dump that requires hiring an agency or full-time teammate.

A great tool for approaching sponsoring
I love this book. Every page is full of insights, experiences and great tools to start looking at sponsoring in a different way. I hope it will help me find the right sponsors. In any case, I can present my program in a much more professional way now. Thank you Alex Striker for putting this together.

Very knowledgeable, tendency to repeat itself
Very well written and informative book on sponsorship strategies that go past the basic "offering exposure". For me, the difficulty in finding sponsorship isn't the proposal or the deck, it's finding the right contacts within businesses to get in touch with. The hardest barrier in finding money is finding the right person to talk to. This book does not help on that side of things. I would aim this book at more of a "deal closer" rather than a "deal starter"
